Passing through Dresden

Clean, comfortable and very nice room with a delicious buffet breakfast.
This hotel has paid parking and easy walking distance to the centre of Dresden.
I highly recommend it.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Location was close to train and downtown. Room and waiting area very clean. Staff was very helpful as we speak very little of the language. The bar and eatery was also nice to have onsite once we were done for the day. If in Dresden stay here.

Okay for one night, not recommended for longer.

We booked this hotel for one night, which was sufficient because we cannot imagine a longer stay, in order to attend an event and thus not have a very late return trip.
The room was okay; it was located on the 2nd floor facing the main road as well as the train tracks, so it was better to keep the window closed.
Since we knew that the parking situation is unacceptable, we parked the car on a more distant street.
The breakfast was acceptable but nothing more, cheap cold cuts and cheese, plus boiled eggs or scrambled eggs from a carton.
The check-in went smoothly thanks to the prior online check-in, although it is not clear why one has to check in beforehand if everything has to be entered again at the terminal.
The air conditioning in the room thought it was setting the temperature and not the guest; the bathroom is not well thought out with the shower, where the partition is poorly chosen.
For us, the conclusion is that once is enough, although the price for the room including breakfast seems a bit too high, even as an early booking with immediate credit card charge and the possibility of cancellation on the day of arrival until 6:00 PM.
It is good that there is a tram stop directly in front of the building, which provides a good way to get to your destination from there.

Ideal location for Dresden

(+) The location is perfect. From there you can quickly get to the tram (directly in front of it) or to the Dresden-Neustadt train station. You are also quickly at the wonderful Elbe riverbank at the Japanese Palace and in the Dresden Neustadt.
(-) I was looking forward to a room with a view, but we got one with a wall in front of it. Apparently some kind of front extension with rooms.
