Great swimingpool !!

Great cosy and very clean hotel. All was just great specially the pool area! Veeeery nice pool and comfortable sunbeds. The only minus point was the busy road outside at night. We stay here on very warm summerdays / nights and sleeping with the window open was undoable due to the traffic. The resaurant was good, typical German food. Very friendly staff in the hotel and restaurant.

More a s*x club than a hotel.

Terrible place. Next to a busy main road; our room was across this road which we had to cross to get to the pool. Sweaty owner in wet clothes already gave bad vibes. Room lacked air conditioning and were piping hot. Worst: the pool was full of naked people; the owner said this was normal in Germany. We cancelled the reservation and we were reimbursed only 1 out of 2 nights.

Overpriced, unfriendly, unhygienic

Absolutely terrible service and overpriced prices.
We went there twice within a short space of time (because we were invited twice)
Once for brunch and once for dinner.
For brunch there was one more person registered than there were at the end. Nevertheless we had to pay for the missing person! €38 for nothing? Absolutely outrageous.
The second time we went there for lunch. With a dish costing €34 you would expect a side salad, but this had to be ordered at an extra cost and was charged a whopping €6.50! For a bit of carrots, cucumbers and coleslaw. In contrast to our table neighbors, even the potato salad was left out. We went there to eat at 11.30... The value of the goods was maybe 50 cents. The cost was €1-2 for me
But then they charge €6.50 for it?
The takeaway container was also charged WITHOUT informing us beforehand that it would cost something.
There are also two cats running around in the dining room, at the bar and probably in the kitchen too!
The food was OK but absolutely nothing special.

Clean rooms in the German valley's

Large clean room with recently refitted bathroom. Restaurant serves good selection of food at reasonable prices, breakfast standard German fayre. There's a small pool and sauna somewhere if you happen to be staying in summer! Plentiful free parking. Only downside could be the small bar area at busy times, only about 10 bar stools!

Very nice hotel, rude owner

Stayed here for 2 nights on a buisnesstrip. Rooms and breakfast all very good. Location is also beautifull.
It would have gotten 5 stars, was it not for the rude behaviour of the owner during check-out. One of my colleages forgot her PIN on her credit card and the owner responded with "not my problem, you have to pay, don't care how" no understanding at all. We sorted it but it showed little respect for a simple mistake.
