A great vacation with just one drawback.
We stayed for 6 nights at Weissenhäuser Strand, in the Luv un Lee vacation apartment with 61 square meters and 2 bedrooms.
We traveled as a family with 2 adults and a toddler (2 years old).
The location and the leisure activities, as well as the half-board we booked at Möwenbräu, are simply world-class, and this was the first vacation with a child that felt "right" for us. Our son loved the swimming pool and the jungle area so much that there was also some time for the adults to relax. The playgrounds, Kids Club, etc. are absolutely fantastic as well. Simply a paradise for children!
The vacation apartment itself was great: modern, well-equipped, with a baby bed, high chair, and extra bed available (but not used by us), a wonderful large bedroom, and the second bedroom is a bit smaller but also sufficient. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the location; we were in Block M directly on the street and across from the construction site for the new parking garage. Firstly, it was a noise disturbance starting from 7 AM, which coincided with our son's nap time, making it quite problematic. Secondly, the distances to the village square, where almost everything is located, were quite far. Even when sitting on the balcony in the evening, one would have preferred to look at the facility or the greenery rather than at a construction site with a crane.
Additionally, it was (we were aware of this) that there is no elevator and the apartments start from the 1st floor. They go up to, I believe, the 3rd floor. We were not aware, however, that there is an outside staircase leading to the 1st floor and that one then has to find "their" staircase to get to the 2nd floor like we did. One should consider this if, for example, one has a wagon or stroller with them; therefore, we would not book it this way again.
We expressed our dissatisfaction with the situation at the construction site at the service point - the response was only, "Yes, that is unfortunate, I understand that" - but there was no solution or anything like that offered here.
However, since we, especially our son, really like the facility itself, we still wanted to stick to our booking for August. At the reception, I addressed the problem again, and a nice employee - nearly all the staff were super friendly - promised me an apartment with a different location on the ground floor for August - we hope it works out; if not, I will provide another update.
Also great is the small Edeka, which has everything you need - including a bread roll service, for example.
I really like small shops for souvenirs, etc., and there were a few small stores there, as well as the HopsShop.
There are also many dining options - we only used the American Diner on the day of departure, which was really great and reasonably priced. Otherwise, we only ate at Möwenbräu (there is a separate children's buffet) and had waffles and fries once.
Personally, I would also love to see other soft drinks, as Sinalco is offered, which is not really to my taste, but tastes vary. I always had Lillet Berry, and it was outstanding :-).
I would rate the parking situation as slightly negative - you do get a parking space, yes, but possibly at the other end of the facility. In our area, there were slightly fewer parking spaces. But work is already being done on that.
The review may sound negative now, even though it shouldn't - but usually, such information is the most helpful.
In summary, it was definitely a very wonderful vacation, and we are already looking forward to August!

Need for repetition
In April 2026, we spent our short vacation as a family with two small children there. The vacation apartment was well-equipped and clean. No matter where you were, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We can particularly highlight the communication and the work of the reception and the kids' club. The reception was very solution-oriented when problems arose (we had issues with the wristbands, which were resolved immediately), and the staff at the kids' club were very child-friendly and empathetic. There is something for the whole family, whether it's relaxation on the beach, adventure and action in the subtropical water park, or in the jungle area. There is a lot of variety offered, and it never gets boring. The vacation park is equipped with many amenities, and you do not have to leave the vacation park. Souvenir shops, clothing shops, ATMs, and Edeka are on-site. We felt completely comfortable there and will soon spend our summer vacation there. We were very satisfied. Our daughter (4) always raves about the kids' club, the attractions, and the hopscotch.

Top facility // recommended
We had a very nice stay at Weißenhäuser Strand. The facility is well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the many recreational opportunities, and the family-friendly atmosphere.
The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. There is plenty for children to discover, so boredom does not arise. The surroundings also invite pleasant walks and excursions.
Overall, a successful vacation and definitely a recommendation for families, couples, and anyone looking to spend a relaxing break at the Baltic Sea. We would gladly come back!

We consciously planned our stay at the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday park early as early bookers, but we were disappointed in many areas.
Check-in and first impression
Despite our early booking, we had to endure unexpectedly long wait times at check-in. On the way to our room, we also noticed an extremely strong, chemical cleaning smell in the hallway, which was anything but inviting.
Condition of the room
Unfortunately, the room itself did not meet the expected standard:
Kitchen: The refrigerator was massively dirty and unhygienic upon our arrival.
Furnishings: The furniture and the entire equipment are visibly outdated and urgently need renovation.
Balcony: The outdoor area was unacceptable. The entire balcony – including the windows, the table, and the chairs – was completely covered in bird droppings. It was not possible to use it in this condition.
The only positive aspect to mention is the bathroom, which was in an acceptable condition.
Adventure pool (Subtropical bathing paradise)
The deficiencies continue in the leisure area as well. In some areas of the adventure pool, the joints show significant mold growth. Additionally, we believe there is a safety or comfort risk with the slides: The transitions between the individual slide elements are very sharp, as the sealing material was apparently not processed properly or completely.
Conclusion
Only the beautiful beach was convincing. However, the price-performance ratio and the condition of the facility and the room were not in proportion to each other. We had expected much more from our vacation and hope that management will promptly address these issues for the sake of future guests.

Dirty and unpleasant staff.
Dirty apartment, had to start by removing the dishwasher. Very unpleasant staff in the Italian restaurant us Swedish they ignored and gave Germans tables that came after us.
