Just went for the food
Had a friend visiting in Ibadan
Booked hotel for said friend
Visited and had a meal
Enjoyed it
Visited lots of other times without remembering to take pictures.
Been visiting here since the hotel opened in late 2014 early 2015

DO NOT GO THERE FOR YOUR OWN SANITY

myself and my colleagues was assaulted by a cab guy in their premises and no staff or security came when he was shouting at us even when he started beating my colleague nobody came until much later and then they allowed the guy to leave their premises.
They have very bad customer service and also very bad internet and they don't have water.
Their room is mouldy and i left with bad allergies and i couldn't even stay more account.

Crappy hotel

One night stay, left a very bad taste in my mouth . No towel in room, intercom not working , you have to lug your luggage on the stairs and no trash can in the room. The renovation the did is slap dash and you have just one charge point in the room near the bed . At breakfast it was a buffet but they dole out the food and you can’t get second helpings unless you pay . The food is also dismal . Avoid this place

Stuffy space no internet connection

The internet connection not working in the rooms... room was very stuffy and dusty.
The customer service slow, when I checked in at 7pm no towels, no drinking water.
For a no pepper customer, there was little to no meal options..
They made me fries though

Horrible experience at Carlton gate hotel. Ibadan

Please do not stay at this hotel. It is pathetic.Checked into the so called exclusive part of the hotel, when we turned on the light, cockroaches were scrambling everywhere, called the reception and they offered to spray the room with insecticide but we declined the offer because it was to too late and we were ready to sleep and since they claimed they were full and no other room to move us.
In the morning while taking a shower, water stopped running, called reception and was told someone will fix it. After waiting for what looks like eternity and my husband was covered in soap and now shivering, went downstairs after the second call and the staff on the exclusive side looked confused and so unprofessional, she stated the call went to the main building, so she was not aware
At the reception , having to state my complaints again and after
about 10minutes, i finally got some to get water for us in buckets to finish taking our bath.
Aside from the above stated horrifying experience, the room was not properly cleaned and the toilet seat was broken.
I really do not have a clue who would establish a business and not make sure things are done properly????. How do you pay so much money for this kind of nonsensical services.
