Overall, very pleasant stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room I stood in was pleasant, definitely looked and felt aged. Breakfast is continental enough to get you to start your day. Overall, I had a good time and I would stay there again.

Awful... a horror

Our stay was unfortunately a real nightmare from the moment we arrived.
First unpleasant surprise: we were not expecting to have the toilet and bathroom outside the room. This was a huge disappointment.
The photos of the establishment do not correspond at all to reality. We were well aware that we were booking a 1-star hotel and were not expecting a luxury establishment. However, we were expecting a minimum of comfort, cleanliness, and maintenance. The reality is quite different. Honestly, this establishment does not even deserve that classification. We felt more like we were in a very dilapidated youth hostel.
We occupied room no. 5, on the second floor, accessible only by extremely steep and narrow stairs, with no elevator. With suitcases, this is very complicated and these stairs seemed particularly dangerous to us.
The room was in a very insufficient state of cleanliness: dirty walls, poorly maintained bathroom, persistent smell of stale tobacco, and electrical installations that inspired little confidence. The window did not close properly, letting in the noise from the street, which was very busy, day and night.
The lack of air conditioning made the stay very difficult. Despite the noise, we had to leave the window open for the four days in order to air out the room and to endure the heat as well as the smell of stale tobacco.
The breakfast is also very limited and disappointing.
As soon as we arrived, we requested a room change. The reception indicated to us that the hotel was full and that no other solution was possible.
We took numerous photos that show the actual state of the premises, very far from the image given during the booking.
We travel regularly and know how to tell the difference between a simple hotel and a high-end hotel. It is not the lack of amenities that bothers us, but the lack of maintenance, hygiene, and the discrepancy between the photos presented and reality.
We absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

This place was dirty. Smelled strongly of urine and musty. Stairs were scary steep. They require you turn in card when you go out. Weather was warm and since there is no ac, we wanted to open windows, but it was loud and smoky.

Don’t stay here unless you want bed bugs crawling all over your body and biting you. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the infestation until early the next morning, after I had already spent the night being bitten. Thankfully, I only had to endure it for one night, but that was more than enough. I have traveled all over the world, and this was by far the worst bed bug infestation I have ever experienced. To make matters worse, when I reported the issue the following morning, the staff was completely nonchalant and showed little concern or urgency in addressing the situation.
