Perfect location

Location spot on for sight seeing and exploring Amsterdam. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but never intended to be using for anything other than to sleep and change. Beds were comfy. Noisy outside till around midnight then all goes quiet. Shower gel provided and rooms can be cleaned every day if requested. Luggage room to store your bags on your check out which alloqed us to have a great last day. I would recomend this hotel if looking for a value for money, central location to explore Amsterdam.

From experience, Amsterdam is an expensive city, and I understand how difficult it can be to find a good budget-friendly hotel.
Hotel Pagi is very centrally located, close to the train station and within walking distance of most of the places you are likely to visit during your stay. It is situated on a busy street, so noise may affect light sleepers. However, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept well.
The rest of the property is very basic—and I do mean basic. There are no frills, limited storage space for clothes, and the bathroom is adequate at best. That said, considering the price, we did not expect luxury.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. The reception team were superb—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The housekeeping lady was also incredibly lovely and added a personal touch to the experience.
If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in a prime location and do not mind simple facilities, Hotel Pagi is worth considering.

Good location across from Metro. No elevator with several levels of steep stairs to rooms. Minimal amenities (hand soap and shower gel) and poor lighting in toilet/shower. Small triple room (3 twin beds). Nowhere to sit in room other than bed. No closet, but 3 hangers on wall. Luckily there was a standing fan (no guard cover on blade) in the room to keep air flowing.

Poor service

I stayed at Hotel Pagi from April 11 to 13 and forgot my glasses there. The glasses were recovered and I paid the requested amount of €25 on April 16 to have them sent.
Unfortunately, I still haven't received my glasses to date. I have contacted several times and asked for an update. It was indicated that the payment had been received and that the glasses would be sent, but no further follow-up was forthcoming. I also did not receive a track & trace code.
I find this very disappointing, especially as it is a personal and important property. Clearer communication and faster follow-up would certainly have been appropriate here.
Hopefully this will still be resolved correctly.

There was no breakfast as advertised. Also no lift and the steep stairs had to be negotiated carefully. Also housekeeping seemed to be optional
