A successful weekend in the heart of Amsterdam

A good stay at the Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre!
We spent a pleasant weekend in this ideally located hotel, just a few minutes' walk from Dam Square. Its location is a real asset for discovering Amsterdam easily and fully enjoying the city.
The room was comfortable, with a nice touch we appreciated: a whirlpool tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
The breakfast was decent, with enough of a selection to start the day off right.
A good place to stay in Amsterdam, thanks in particular to its central location and comfort.

Cleaning of the room was very inconsistent, some days you got toilet roll some days you didn’t. One day we didn’t get any teabags or coffee. I phoned reception and was asked to come and get the coffee, I explained I’d been at the GP all day and was exhausted so could it be delivered. They would only deliver with a charge!

You couldn’t ask for a better location in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and large. Bedding was A+. I would definitely stay here again

Cut backs ?

I have stayed at this hotel on and off for the past 20 years. Why 4* not 5? well it would have got 5* if they would have allowed a later checkout which they could at a cost of €20 per hour. A non chargeable later checkout has never been an issue before, it’s not the Receptionist fault just the hotels policy which now has zero flexibility. Shampoo regardless of a previous review stated is not supplied (It used to be before the cut backs) I even asked at reception just to see what they’d say and it was a no so in my humble opinion it’s a bl**dy joke considering the crazy room rates !!

Perfect location, friendly staff, very good breakfast. Only was that bed was not comfortable and room airconditioning was now working perfectly.
