The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Atef. The room was clean and beautiful, and the bed was comfortable enough to rest after a long day. The room was very soundproof. The breakfast had decent options and I appreciated the free coffee.
The hotel is located in a great spot if you want easy access to the main attractions of the city, while still enjoying some peace and quiet at night. There was also a nice park right across the street.
The single room was quite small and had no door for the bathroom. This was fine for one person but I would strongly advise against having two people stay in the single room.

DO NOT BOOK! It's a scam.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! They are currently scamming the guests. The hotel is in a process of renovation with trash, broken glass, bins, bolts and open wires laying around everywhere. Workers are drilling, walking around and doing construction work as you'll stay there. There's not enough staff in the hotel and the one that is would rather not work in the environment the hotel owners put them in. There is an overall bad vibe and not mention hazardous environment that should be illegal to even be listed and sell rooms.

Terrible SCAM!

This is undoubtedly one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had.
We booked this stay through Hotels.com in anticipation of a normal and well-functioning hotel as it was presented. Instead we arrived at a place where the entire lobby has been torn down and the hotel is in the middle of an extensive renovation. It feels like a construction site – not a hotel.
At no time were we informed of this prior to arrival. This is completely unacceptable. Had we known, we would never have booked the place.
We paid almost 4000 DKK for a decent hotel stay – not to stay in the midst of noise, dust and construction work. The experience does not live up to what was promised, and large parts of the hotel are obviously unusable.
As if that was not enough, the hotel tried to compensate with croissants and drinks. Honestly, it's close to being offensive. We haven’t paid so much for snacks – we have paid for a decent hotel experience.
This feels misleading and extremely unprofessional. As a customer, you should be informed about such extensive renovations prior to booking.
We can in no way recommend this place and we expect to get all our money back. (update, we did not!!)

We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect — the room matched the description and photos, and the staff were excellent, very friendly and always helpful.
We did not have breakfast, so I cannot rate that part of the experience.
Before arriving, I had read some negative reviews about the renovation work taking place at the hotel, which made me a little worried. However, there was absolutely nothing to be concerned about. The renovation did not disturb our stay in any way.
Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
