Outstanding hotel experience
From arrival to departure, the whole experience for us was perfect. Welcoming, friendly and informative staff, an amazing family room with plenty of space for 4, separate bunk bed room for the kids, spotless spacious bathroom with toiletries, the most comfortable bed and amazing views with floor to ceiling windows.
The hotel facilities were outstanding, we loved the modern style of the hotel, the pool and spa area is incredible, we loved making use of this each day, the pool was such a hit with the kids after a busy day exploring the city.
We ate in the hotel bar one night which was perfect for us – stylish surroundings, great service, amazing food – huge portions! Another highlight was the breakfast, we were spoiled for choice each morning with the choice of food and drink. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The play area for children near to the breakfast room was also a bonus!
There is 24/7 room service pizza available, which we ordered one night and it was fantastic.
There is a self-service shop in the reception area, which is so well stocked with anything you may need or have forgotten, as well as snacks and ice cream.
The metro station closest to the hotel is closed for a number of weeks, however we found it easy and cheap to get around using Uber, so this didn’t affect our stay.
This was a perfect family hotel for us, and I would highly recommend staying here. I have zero negative comments. I wonder if the negative reviews are for the wrong hotel?!

The bar was closed on 2 of the 3 nights I stayed due to staff shortages.

Hotel spotless, staff couldn’t do enough for you.
Bar great and restaurant lovely however highlight has to be the breakfast ❤️
Quick walk to Upperamstel metro which takes you straight to Central Amsterdam.
Would highly recommend.
