Very disappointing stay.

This hotel was an utter disappointment.
The interior was very tired and aged (photos attached)
The television was facing directly at a wall (photo attached)
The sliding door in the shower was hanging dangerously (photo attached)
The most unusual thing was the toilet being placed under the washbasin counter top with a 3" long rod sticking out. This will be a fatal thing for a larger built person (photo attached).
There were no USB charger point, no ceiling lights which made the room too dark. The door lock was not working properly. The dirty water didn't drain well in the sink. Refreshments weren't refilled and no service phone in the room. The carpets looked very dirty too.
All these in room number 501. Not a 4 star hotel, not worth the price we paid and the photos in the booking website didn't match the actual interior. Atleast this was the case in room 501.
The only good thing was the breakfast however, food in Norway was very good anywhere you go.

We did not enjoy our stay there. The room looked old and the room is very poorly organized. Way too expensive and far fron the 4 stars standards. When we arrived the room was ready but we were asked a supplement of 30 euros just to get to the room after a long travel, which is not customer friendly. The only good point is the location. We won't come back.

We only were there for one night but were very impressed .
The room was very comfortable and spotless . The breakfast was excellent so much on offer .

I was quite disappointed in my stay here. While it offers a great location to downtown, my room was never cleaned. Only my last night did they offer to clean my place at 5pm for some weird reason.
The breakfast is fantastic and very filling. There is a wide range of different options including both a hot and cold option.
The rooms are quite small and get very hot. I had to open a window to cool down, but would be woken by sounds of people walking and talking or by boats honking their horns.
I don’t think the value is there for how expensive the hotel is.
