Cosy, friendly, clean, FANTASTIC breakfast!

Such friendly service, and no hotel breakfast will ever live up to what we had here! Table service, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as plenty to put on your bread. Smiley staff. Very clean room, overall hotel was really clean and tastefully decorated. 20 minutes walk into town, which suited us, but if you want amenities a bit nearer this may not suit. Area peaceful and pleasant. We would definitely come back again!

For this price, you can find much better accommodation in Gdansk

The villa is located quite close to the center, but only by car or public transport, because walking is a tragedy. As for the object itself is the best place to stay it is not. The 3-bed room (in the attic) is definitely too small, there is no bedside cabinet with each bed (1 for 2 beds), the lighting in the room is too weak, no air conditioning (unless a small fan is enough for 3 people, which is ridiculous), no wardrobe. Cleaning by employees was not everyday (not to mention not washing the toilet). Breakfasts provided by the villa were terribly monotonous, the same thing every day (probably they have served the same thing for many years), it was possible to eat, but every breakfast a hot option - scrambled eggs or frankfurters (people who do not eat animal products would have a problem). Although employees seemed to be nice, I can't recommend Villa Stratus, because it has MUCH flaws.

Comfortable stay in nice and clean villa

We stayed at 4 nights in March. Hotel was a positive Surprise. Owners and stuff were very kind and friendly. Villa Stratus itself is very small but clean and comfortable hotel about 10 minutes bus trip from center. Rooms are quite small but have own toilet/bathroom. Going to the center was easy by bus (108 and 118). Bus stops were near. Breakfast was big and the scrambled eggs was heavenly good.

Easy, comfortable stay

We spent 4 nights here visiting Gdansk and really rated this hotel. It is about 10 minutes drive from the old town in a quiet residential area. There are some basic shops at the end of the road including a supermarket and lovely fruit shop.
Our triple room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good wifi throughout the stay. As we were in room 9 on the ground floor, there was some noise from other guests but nothing that really got bothersome.
Breakfast was a highlight with a fantastic selection of cooked meat, cheese and lovely bread, along with yogurt and eggs is you wanted them. Facilities to make coffee or tea, plus chilled water are available 24 hours on the first floor.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
Our tips for Gdansk:
- visit the zoo - great day out
- do the WW2 museum and the Solidarity museum, but in that order. Both excellent and moving experiences.
- if you have no car, use Uber around the city. 10 pln to the old town (£2) and 37 pln to the airport (around £7)

Lovely visit

Stayed here for 4 nights, the place itself was clean and cosy. The owners were lovely people and made us feel welcome, you tell them what time you want breakfast which was delicious, a huge selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and you can have scrambled eggs which were delicious and cooked sausage, you had tea coffee fruit juice too. We used their iron which saved us having to pack one. There was a fan at side of the bed which was a blessing in August. I would defiantly recommend staying here, you can easily get into town by tram, bus or taxi.
