Definitely try it!

What a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is located on the corner of some cobblestone streets just a few blocks from the waterfront. Very charming. Our room on 4th floor had balconies. The room and bathroom were spacious for European standards. Hallways are narrow and elevator is small. We would definitely stay there again.

OK, but would not stay again

Very large room for Lisbon, bathroom with great recording, but very poorly used. The box is small and the sink can barely accommodate the belongings. The coffee was disappointing. Unfortunately I did not see that it was continental and the disappointment was guaranteed. A tiny portion of mixed eggs, laminated fruits in a small amount and two fruits (always one of them was orange, which I hate). Colds chopped roughly (without crude ham). Industrialized yogurt. Oh, bad. Spectacular location next to Rossio and Commerce Square. As much as you’re in the middle of the “bagunza”, the acoustic insulation is good. Wooden floor range quite. I believe if there was someone upstairs, I would have bothered you a lot. In short: OK, but I would not stay again.

Very centrally located with AC and an incredibly helpful staff. I could not have stayed at a better place for the price.

Charming room in great location

The location of the hotel is perfect - right in the heart of Baixa with plenty of shopping, restaurants and transit options.
The building is beautiful and comfortable, and our room was spacious with many windows and a Juliet balcony so with the windows open, we felt like we were right in the middle of the action, looking out onto several bustling patios and pedestrian traffic. Close the windows and poof - basically sound proof, and the AC makes fresh air a non-issue.
My spouse complained that the cleaning staff did a poor job though I didn’t notice. There was a single electrical outlet for the entire room, far away from the bed which made phone charging a hassle. A kettle and various tea options are provided, but no coffee - not even instant. We had to purchase a small bar of instant coffee for the room. I understand they are hoping you will buy breakfast but North American guests are accustomed to drinking coffee when waking up, and it seems a simple thing to provide.
Staff were courteous and helpful. I would stay here again but I’d bring a longer extension cord and some coffee packets.
