Very Disappointing Rude Staff

I do not recommend this hostel. From the moment I arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The staff at the front desk were rude and unwelcoming, when I asked for help with my room, they acted as if I was bothering them. No smiles, no courtesy, just cold and dismissive behavior.
To make matters worse, my room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, even though I had booked a non-smoking room. It was hard to breathe, and the odor lingered the entire time. I asked to change rooms, but the staff refused without even checking for alternatives.
The overall atmosphere felt uninviting, and customer service was clearly not a priority. I will definitely not be returning.

Serious failure in communication and customer assistance

We had a reservation at Avenue Rooms View for May 17. We checked in, left our belongings at the property and made the booking payment. We were told that the entry code would be sent to us later. On that day, we had an important event and we only returned to the accommodation around 4:00 a.m. — when we realized we had never received any code message.
We tried everything: dozens of calls, messages via WhatsApp and Booking, we tap the bell several times, but we didn't get any answer. After more than an hour of waiting and despair, we ended up sleeping in the car. Only at 8:30 a.m. they responded by WhatsApp, but they continued not to answer calls. They said there was a mistake in sending messages by Booking and returned the booking amount.
Despite the quick refund and apology, the experience was simply unacceptable. Besides not resting, the weekend was completely ruined. A property that presents itself as a professional must ensure an effective and available 24/7 contact channel. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We do not recommend at all.

Worst Experience Ever – Not Worth the Money

I regret booking this hostel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a grumpy staff member who didn’t seem to care about guests at all. The room I was assigned was dirty, with stains on the sheets and a musty smell that never went away. The bathroom was in terrible condition – the shower barely worked, and there was mold everywhere.
The noise level was unbearable, with loud partying going on until the early hours of the morning, and no one from the staff did anything about it. I couldn’t even get a good night’s sleep, which completely ruined my stay.
Additionally, the Wi-Fi barely worked, and the common areas were overcrowded and uncomfortable. There was also a distinct lack of amenities that were promised in the listing, such as breakfast and a working kitchen.
For the price, this hostel is not worth it. There are many better options in the area. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
