A place to stay during Vienna holiday
The location on the map might seem confusing at first and give the impression that it’s in an unreachable area, but it definitely is not. Always use the subway in Vienna—it’s very convenient and efficient. From Westbahnhof, there’s a frequent S50 train that departs every 15 minutes or so. The train station is within easy reach, but it’s far enough not to disturb your sleep at night.
The bed was fine, and so were the toilet and shower. The only minor issue was the lack of communication from the owners on the Booking app. However, to my surprise, the receptionist (if it was the same person) spoke fluent English and was very helpful.
Thanks for the stay! Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures, but the room was clean, as it should be.

Nice, but be careful
3 hours before we arrived, we got an email from Hostelworld.com stating that the booking was canceled. We contacted the owner and it took her some time to reply. She said that everything looks good from her perspective. So we contacted Hostelworld directly and they said that this is very unusal and that the hostel is the only party that could have issued the cancellation. We got our pre paid reservation fee back. I do not know if this is some kind of scam but it surely was odd.
In addition to that, as we read some other reviews, we saw that others had similar problems, but partially did not get their money back.
When we arrived our bed sheets were used but a quick text to the owner and the sheets were switched within 30 minutes.
The location of the hostel is near perfect. The trainstation nearby (Wien Weidlingau) offers a train every 30 mins to the Westbahnhof. The ride takes 20 mins. From the Westbahnhof you can reach every corner of Wien with ease. Just be careful, the last train from Westbahnhof to Weidlingau is departing at 00:26. There is not a single train to Weidlingau until 04:33.
Even tho the trainstation can be reached within a 5 min walk, the trains do not disturb your sleep.
All in all we had a nice experiences, especially for that price
