Disapointment
I had a reservation for two (me and my mother for mothers day) for two nights and i paid upfront. Then my father decided to join us. I tried to add him as an extra person to our room because there was a double bed and a big sofa, but i couldn’t. I asked the hotel and they said it’s not possible (!) to add a person or a bed to the room and we have to (!) buy another room. Anyway i said ok and they told me there is a single room for two nights (same as my current reservation dates but this imaginary room is not visible on booking) and this single room for two nights is half of What i paid for my current double room reservation. I Said ok and we hit the road. I have all the messages that confirm the price they told me for two nights.
When we arrive at 20:40, The person on the front desk told me that I have to pay the same amount (even a bit higher) as my two person two night reservation for the single one. I told him that i have messages to prove that the price they told me is hafl of it for two nights, he made a phone call and had a theatrical talk and told me that’s the price. And asked cash or card. Talking us like we were kids. I Said no and they couldn’t sell another overprized room to us. My father stayed at another hotel and we seperated for the nights. He had heart surgery and he got really upset, me and my mother worried for him. Also It was a shame because i had plans for mothers day.
ALSO; room was dirty, on bathroom floors there was man hair, balcony was in dirt and carpets and sofa was stained. It wasn’t worth the effort and money spent. Waiters were kind and friendly, but reception guy at evening time is talking to you like you were a kid and hotel is Just trying to sell overprized rooms instead of trying to keep the regular customers in hand. (My mom was a regular until now) she had 10 friends stayed there before. Never coming back. So sorry for this experience.
