A great little boutique type hotel, quaint authentic Greek style in a great location for walking to attractions, restaurants and shopping at Plaka.

Excellent central location and charming stay!
We had a fantastic time at Kimon Hotel Athens. The hotel is in a perfect spot in the Plaka area just a short walking distance to the Acropolis, which made exploring so easy and convenient. It’s also close to all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions, so we never needed taxis or public transport for most things.
George is absolutely the best, he was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better! We really had fun during our time here.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting to be right in the heart of historic Athens. We’d happily stay here again!

Great Location, Clean and Comfortable, and Excellent Value
We had a very good stay at the Kimon Hotel in Athens. The location was excellent and made it easy for us to enjoy the city and explore many of the places we wanted to visit.
George at the front desk was always friendly and helpful whenever we had questions, and we appreciated his welcoming attitude throughout our stay.
This is a no-frills hotel, but it had all of the basics we needed. Our room was clean, the location was great, and the price represented solid value. It checked all the boxes for us, especially since we were looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay before our cruise.
One important thing for travelers to be aware of is that there is no elevator, so you will need to carry your luggage upstairs. This was manageable for us, but it is worth knowing before you book.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Kimon Hotel again.

The Kimon Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Plaka, with almost everything you want to see within easy walking distance.
The property and our room were spotlessly clean. It’s a small, intimate hotel with just a handful of rooms, so don’t expect a large 5-star resort. Instead, we loved its authentic charm and the cozy, quaint atmosphere. George at the front desk was genuinely friendly and always quick to offer excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cuisine.
We stayed on the third floor and enjoyed a lovely view of the Acropolis. The illuminated ruins at night were absolutely stunning from our balcony…a highlight of our stay.
A couple of practical notes: There is no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. If you have heavy luggage, you can leave it at the front desk for the duration of your stay.

The room was clean. The hotel is right in the middle of the action in Athens. The front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants.
