Marvelous in May

This is a fairly small family run hotel ideally set a little way back from the beach and restaurants. We are here the 2nd week in May so it is very quiet so can’t say what it might be like in August! The hotel, grounds and pool are immaculately clean and rooms are cleaned quickly although I do think a’do not disturb’ sign should be provided. The rooms have all you need including a very handy fridge, kettle and a 2 ring cooker. Tea etc is not provided but a very small supermarket is just up the road so we stocked up on water, ice cream , beers and snacks etc Breakfast is quite simple, hot drinks, juice, feta, olives, toast and there is some form of warm food in a heating tray which varies every day. There is usually a couple of savoury or sweet pastries too. The Greek yogurt , honey and fruit is fab.The pool area is very nice with comfortable loungers (some with shade) music plays in the back ground( not too intrusive ) and the bar opens at 10am offering a variety of drinks, snacks and food.There are many restaurants a stones throw away varying in price and quality . If you don’t mind a little stroll to the far end of the beach you will come across Lava which we loved for its simple, authentic food. We hired a car for 2 days €42 and explored the island, luckily there were no cruise ships in as listening to other guest it becomes overwhelmingly crowded. Highly recommend parking up near Akrotiri on the coast road to watch the sunset and then on to cave of Nicklaus for a delicious waterside dinner. A great hotel for a quiet getaway in May but ideally located if you want to explore too.
We had a really great week here.

Villa Eleftheria is a great place to stay in Perivolous

We loved this family run hotel In Perivolus. The family were super helpful, the room (nbr 6) shower, bed, all excellent. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day with fresh towels. A very good breakfast too. Beach, bars and restaurants close by. We have stayed in many hotels on different Greek Islands, Villa Eleftheria is probably the best.

Wonderful

My husband and myself had a wonderful experience of staying at Villa Eleftheria. It's a quiant family run business, where you can tell they all take provide in the service they deliver. Its very pieceful which was perfect for us- we dont like partying. The rooms were recently updated, love and spacious- my only downside to this was that we had 2 single beds rather than the large double that was stated on our booking, but these were still very comfortable. The were cleaned everyday- the cleaners work exceptionally hard. The breakfast was enough to set you up for the day with the pool and bar area also serving a plentiful menu (at cost) throughout the day. The beach was only a very short walk away with a vast amount of resturants located on the 20 minute walk upto Perissa as well as watersports. The Villa in own opinion was fantastic value for money and would definitely return.

Amazing time

Had an amazing time in this family run complex, the family were amazing and so was the room cleaned everyday and so nice, beautiful light features, we stayed in room 1, so private and lovely view. No prob getting sunbeds and the staff were always happy to help, 2 mins walk from the beach, black sand.. Lovely restaurants down the beach.. Especially Taste by the sea ... Stephan the waiter was amazing and lovely food there 2, can see the chefs cooking it and working hard. Had a brill time all around and so chilled in the villa... Very pricey santorini though!! According to some people who have been going years.
