Centrally located well run hotel.

Faultless! We arrived early evening. Check in swift with explanations by a polite and gentle employee. Room overlooking, ing main road but quite quiet. Facilities fines Centrally situated closets train station. The hotel has a steakhouse, bar and bistro. The room also has a minibar. Air conditioner works well.

Highly recommended!

A delightful hotel within easy walking distance of the train station. Marbled floors, comfy sitting area and relaxing decor give a feeling of luxury. Our room was spacious and clean with a good size bathroom. The Pub and Grill restaurant served delicious food for dinner and lunch. The included breakfast was very satisfying. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the city.

Clean spacious room close to Gara Nord Station at reasonable price

Spacious, clean room with ac. Nice lobby , close to the main train station. Convenient on site restaurant. Night front Dey person very nice but with quirky humor. Day front desk guy rude. That why I give 4 stars

great value, clean and good service

A great option in Bucharest. A bit far from the center of town, walkable but you need to want to do it lol. But a short Uber/Bolt. there isn't a ton of restaurants around, but the train station is two blocks away so if you're traveling around Romania via train, this is a great location
I'm not trying to discourage anyone from staying here, the rooms are big and modern even though it's an old building, and the value if fantastic. Just be aware most of the fun places to visit will be a ride away

DO NOT STAY HERE WITH KIDS. Not a family hotel.

Checked in after arriving by train after 1pm, it’s close to the station so that’s a plus.
Hotel was okay looking from the lobby, nothing special, looks clean, We booked two rooms as we’re travelling as a family of 4 and it already says on Booking dot yeah that you can’t have extra beds in the rooms. Bad news, need to book two rooms.
Not a problem, we’ve done this at other hotels. They mostly book you in two rooms next to each other. Upon request of our rooms we were told they do not have rooms that connect and they cannot book us in rooms next to each other, okay, but surely room 10 and 17 aren’t that far or maybe across the hall? Nope! We’re at complete opposite sides of the floor… hey at least we’re on the same floor right!?
We booked a suite that says has a bath and shower (and a hot tub!?) but yeah it’s just a shower. I’ve seen photos with a bathtub which may be what they refer to as the hot tub, but that’s not what it is.
The suite has plenty of space, could’ve easily had two extra beds in it. The sofa is dilapidated and there’s no way anyone can sit on this comfortably. It could have had two small sofa beds in there and they could offer family rooms with a double and two singles!!
Our kids are in their late teens so they’re okay on their own, but the hotel information says only kids under 7 allowed in room with parents, so kids aged 8-18 have to have their own room, which means one of the parents have to stay with kids in one room and the other in another room as it wouldn’t be responsible to let young kids be in rooms on their own. When people book with a family (or any group on holiday) you make sure they are at least in rooms next to each other. I think it’s just inconsiderate to put a family that far from each other.
The room itself is very basic. The bed is rock hard and the pillows are thin and useless for sleeping on, they offer no comfort or support to your head.
There is no bedding, just a folded up sheet on the chintzy bedspread that feels like it’s made out of plastic.
The furniture is tatty. Some people call it old fashioned, rustic charm, but we’ve stayed in heritage hotels, this is not it. This is old, run down, dilapidated.
It’s noisy, there’s cars driving past every second so I don’t know how people can write in reviews that it’s quiet… some have also complained about noise from outside and/or events that are loud in the hotel.
It’s got a TV in the mirror, but that’s just gimmicky, not classy or modern.
Is it clean? Not quite. It’s okay. There’s some sticky stuff on the headboard, I hope the white stuff on the screws is not chewing gum, but caulk, but the brown bits definitely aren’t, I don’t even want to think what it is!! Other than that and a rusty bin in the bathroom, it’s clean as far as you can clean old and worn out things.
There is a form of airconditioning, but it’s not really doing much in the way of cooling the room, definitely not with the windows open as we found the room, so that wasn’t helping, but then it’s got to work against 32°C outside temperatures when the windows had been opened. They probably should’ve closed those windows and put the airconditioning on ready for guests to arrive in a cool room!!
This hotel is in a very run down part of the city and I’ve seen comments about the type of uncouth establishments that are in this part of town, definitely not where you want to take your kids!!
I wish I had known when my husband booked as I would’ve told him to find another hotel.
