One night in Cluj

Cozy property in an area quite close to the city center (10/15 min walk). Rooms clean enough, spacious and suitable for various needs. Staff helpful and prices average. As for breakfast, it is a bit lacking in the sweet part and the products are not much. I'd say the only downside.

Modern, spotlessly clean, quiet - carefree on the outskirts of the city

During my visit to Cluj, I stayed for one night in the Pensiunea Max, which I walked to about 15 minutes from the main train station.
I was given a friendly welcome and was given a very bright and friendly, modern room with a comfortable bed.
Otherwise, the impression was only positive and there were no disturbances.
If you go to the city center on foot, you also have to expect a walk of about 15 minutes.
The Pensiunea Max is a good and uncomplicated choice if you don't want to stay right in the center of Cluj.

Discourteous staff

The receptionist and manager acted discourteous, terrible commuication by phone, a lot of administrative problems with payments, the location is ok, parking is available, so the problem is not with the place, but with the staff.

Very good location

I had the pleasure of visiting Cluj-Napoca and stayed for a week, at the most pleasant place Pensiunea Max. Very friendly staff,very clean everything and great coffee. Overall a very good experience.
I recommend this hotel to all the travellers visiting Cluj Napoca.

Bad Dream

A bad dream.
As a child i learned from my parents to do only good deeds and offer a smile, a good tought and the truth, all the time to my fellows.
Guided by this education and with unlimited faith in people i went to this location, în Cluj, to rent a room.I need to say that at first sight everything was looking great, shiny furniture, friendly staff and manager, i was almost sure that this is the perfect deal.
After i payed for my room something strange happened. Suddenly the staff and managers started to act discourteous. I was surprised to see that i'm not able to grab a coffe from the kitchen, i'm not able to enjoy a simple hot shower because the water was all the time cold.Even if i had verbal agreement with the manager to make the check out at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, i was forced to leave at 11 in the morning.
I'm shocked of what i found in this location. All my beliefs from the childhood were destroyed.
The poor services, the impolite staff, cold water from showers and the poor breakfast are the evidence that this tiny hotel from Cluj is worth to be skipped in order to enjoy the beautiful city.
