Very good location between airport and centrum. Airport bus C6 drives avery 15min 24/7. Free parking and Wifi. Breakfast ok with full of choses. Disponable cutlery not so nice. Room ok, TV very small and old fashion...no apps. Check out at 12.00 and possibility to extra 15€ to stay till 18.00 and check-in before 12.00. Nice service. Ok value for the price.

Mediocre

The front desk staff is friendly.
They were probably the only positive aspect of our experience at this hotel.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. There are cockroaches in the hotel that enter the rooms, and when we complained about the situation and requested compensation, we were told that the hotel was "not responsible" and that insects could always enter the rooms. We are not talking about a fly or a mosquito, but about very large cockroaches.
What shocked us even more was being told that "changing rooms" was supposed to be the solution. This does not solve the problem at all. If there are cockroaches in a room, they must have come from somewhere in the establishment.
The hotel made no real effort to find a proper solution, and customer satisfaction clearly does not seem to be their priority.
There were also other issues: not enough towels in the room and they were very small, no toilet brush, no body lotion, and overall a serious lack of professionalism and consideration for the guests.
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, even for one or two nights, unless you want to encounter a cockroach in your path.

Parking felt safe. Room was clean. Breakfast was great. We arrived late and could order drinks which was perfect.

You pay for what you get and the Ibis budget was very cheap. But we didn't expect the Ritz so no problem.

Complaint About Stay at ibis budget Alicante

I originally booked a room for two people. Three days before arrival, I called the hotel to request an additional bed for my sister. I was informed that it was impossible to add a third bed and also impossible to change our booking from a double room to a triple room. Because of this, we had to book an additional separate room for my sister.
However, after check-in, we discovered several serious issues with the room. There was a snail in the sink, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the shower was leaking badly. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we requested a room change.
Surprisingly, the hotel staff then moved us to a room with one double bed and one additional bed — exactly the option that I had requested by phone before arrival and was told was impossible. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and extra expenses for us.
In addition, the rooms were extremely dirty and did not meet acceptable hygiene or quality standards.
I am very disappointed with the service and condition of the hotel and cannot recommend this property to other guests.
I expect an explanation regarding this situation and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.
