The hotel was satisfactory for our needs. Clean cool rooms, the buffet dinner was pleasant, could do with labelling of what each food is however. The staff were efficient, not overly friendly but not rude either.

Do not book this hotel
Please do not book this hotel!!! The room stank of smoke. It was small old and not very clean. The hallway smelled awful aswell. The hotel needs to be closed and renovated. The buffet was awful also and if it had of been cooler weather, we would have slept in the car!

The room was semi-clean. Lots of hair scattered about the place when we walked in. Clearly hadn't been vacuumed or had surfaces wiped down if there were strands of hair lying about.
From that moment I checked in, it was a poor experience. For reference we arrived on touring motorcycles. We parked in one of the 12 available free parking spaces, managing to squeeze two motorcycles into one space since the motorcycle parking area was not only full, but not built to house the size of motorcycles we had with us. We were informed we'd have to move the motorcycles as the free parking spaces were for cars only. There is absolutely no indication that this is the case, nor does there seem to be any official Ibis/Accor policy or documentation to support this assertion by the abrupt and unimpressed looking receptionist.
We were told to move them into the underground parking area. For the price of 15€ of course. So our options were:
1. Pay to park underground despite already having parked in a free parking space upon arrival
2. Park them on the street nearby
When I queried why I would have to move the vehicles, the girl simply said it was because car drivers complain to her about motorcycles being parked there.
So be warned if you arrive on motorcycles. You will be treated with contempt by staff at this location.

Average with attitude
Have had good experiences of IBIS as a membership holder throughout . Parking is a first come first served free war zone or pay extra ( why IBIS never include this is annoying )
It’s tired needs a coat of paint and a root and branch spruce up .and that includes the staff especially the stroppy little madam who appears to think she runs things and staff happily insulting guests when they think they cant hear or understand.. However good facilities nearby and easy to get there.
Just needs someone to take a grip.

Room was okay, a bit small and spartan. Paper cups which disintegrated. No hand towels.
Staff were helpful but overworked. Mix up over booking so issues with breakfast. Food, however, was good and plentiful. Very pet friendly; allowed in the dining room.
