Top accommodation
We were there last summer and have never had such a wonderful stay. Enjoy with lots of exclamation marks!!!
With a super swimming lake (Lagoon) and 2 restaurants. Fitness is also recommended.
In short, enjoy Alcazaba Lagoon

beautiful destination
Spacious apartment with luxurious furnishings. Glad there were two bathrooms. Quiet complex.
There is no supermarket at the complex. A car is necessary.

Overpriced and too many bans
The lagoon is beautifully laid out. It is basically a large pool with an area for swimming and a larger area for paddling and pedal boating. You could certainly spend a nice day here, but unfortunately it was spoiled for us by various prohibitions.
As a family of four, we paid €70 for entry (in May, it is even more expensive in high season). Considering that it is actually just a better outdoor pool, that is pretty steep. The first negative surprise came just a few steps away: we were not allowed to take our snacks and drinks in. We were only allowed to bring one bottle of water (one bottle for 4 people!). We were not told this at the checkout, although it was clearly visible that we had apples and crackers with us.
Then we continued swimming. I wanted to do a few laps, but I was immediately forbidden to do that because half of the pool is for residents only. So only half laps are allowed, even though hardly anyone else was in the water and I was certainly not in anyone's way. Children were also forbidden from playing ball in the water.
Children under 13 are not allowed to use the pedal boats, SUPs, etc. themselves, even if they are confident swimmers with a gold badge.
In addition, the children were not allowed to use loungers, and the four of us had to share two loungers.
Overall, we think Alcazaba Lagoon is totally overpriced and we didn't feel comfortable because we were constantly reminded of what was forbidden.
