Weekend getaway

A very different type of break for us but what a great place to stay.
Firstly if you really want to enjoy this part of Malaga learn some basic Spanish. Having said that the locals are amazingly friendly.
The manager Ana is a gem. Seeing my wife has trouble walking she insisted on upgrading our room to a lower level and gave us her best room. From our 1st meeting this lady was warm and friendly. Her thoughtfulness and helpfulness went well beyond expectations. She unfortunately speaks no English but her assistant does and was equally attentive helpful.
Accommodation, several rooms over two floors all comfortable and spacious particularly room 2. A large communal room on the ground floor offers free tea and coffee making facilities. The roof terrace is attached to a good sized functional kitchen. The view is not amazing but is a fantastic sun trap and very warm even in November.
Location. Situated in the older part of the city approximately 1km west of the city centre. Typical Spanish area, lots of small local bars and restaurants. Nearby is a local food market. The beach is a 5min walk with a host of great bars cafes and restaurants.

As mentioned before our hosts were amazing, so much so we are already planning our next visit thank you Ana & Juanmi.

Una atención cálida y perfecta

Reservamos dos noches para poder acudir a un evento en Málaga, y elegimos la suite de Villa Katerina. La habitación era enorme, teniendo una cama de matrimonio y 3 pequeñas dentro de la misma habitación, lo que sería genial para acudir con niños. El baño enorme también, con bañera de hidromasaje, con la cual te dan unas sales de baño para que sea más perfecto si puede. El sitio está impoluto de limpio, y precioso, las zonas comunes son muy acogedoras, y ojalá hubieramos tenido más tiempo para disfrutar de ellas. En la planta superior hay una terracita que en verano, debe ser una maravilla para pasar la tarde tomando algo. Si todo esto te parece maravilloso, Ana la gerente y Juanmi el segundo encargado, no pueden ser más cercanos y amables, nos dieron mil facilidades para hacerlo todo lo más cómodo posible y nos sentimos como en casa, y como si los conociéramos de toda la vida. Si quieres sentirte como en casa, te recomendamos esta Villa, con una ubicación muy buena.

Villa Katherina carretera de Cádiz

Tanto yo como mi pareja hemos vivido una experiencia horrible pues el jacuzzi nunca salía el agua caliente nos tiramos más de un día entero para poder meternos por primera vez en el jacuzzi, decir que es imposible vivir una buena experiencia en este jacuzzi pues tiene un olor a cañerías podridas que es muy desagradable y que te hace imposible pegarte un buen baño en el , cuando se lo comentabamos ala encargada llamada Ana nos chillaba , una mal educada, que sin respeto ninguno nos trató muy muy mal . No vayan nunca a este sitio es decepcionante y te sientes muy humillada . La luz de la habitación se hiba cada dos por tres ayer incluso en más de 6 ocasiones se fue .la encargada llamada ana no te deja ni tener el aire acondicionado puesto y solo quiere que llenes una vez el jacuzzi en todo el día..... una SINVERGUENZA DE CUIDADO MUCHO OJO ¡!
