Great value, friendly and perfect location

i found this hostel to be a brilliant place to stay and wouldn't change a thing. i stayed for 2 nights in august. firstly, the woman on reception was LOVELY and very helpful answering any questions and so nice just to chat to.
the location was perfect, in the old town so many great bars with great atmosphere very close and not far walking to the main plaza. i recommend la gilderia 3mins away for a vermouth and delicious pintxos.
as long as you don't expect any fancy touches (bring your own toothpaste / soap / towel, no breakfast (but a fully functioning kitchen) then this will work great for you and for the price (23 euros) it was very good value. i actually had a whole dormitory to myself plus a clean bathroom with a good shower, and locker for safe keeping. very much recommended

The location was amazing. The accomodation itself is OK, I personally found thet it was relatively noisy and the balcony couldn't be closed. Not all storage shelfs could be used because the doors were broken. There are 6 beds in a room but only 2 socket outlets and one little table. However, it was clean and totally OK if you are staing for a night.

Excellent establishment. In a good location next to the Cathedral.
Good kitchen and dinning room facilities.
Supermarket only a few minutes walk.
WiFi.
Very comfortable shared room.
Good check in experience.

Wonderful hostel in the heart of the old city!

Albergue is an excellent play to stay in the heart of the city. It is a beautifully and thoughtfully renovated building literally built into the side of the old church. It is very eco-friendly and has a clean kitchen, laundry, computers, hang out space and helpful employees to offer advice on anything you want to do in Vitoria. We arrived by bikes and they had a secure place to store our bikes. The only bummer about this place is the noise. Our room faced the main street and we visited on a weekend. The main drag is very lively and people party late so it was a bit loud. Although, I will say, the doors/windows are very thick and were able to block some of the noise. We also had very loud neighbors that partied in their room until 1am. The walls seemed very thin despite their thick look. All in all, though, we loved staying here, and next time, we would request an inside facing room to avoid the outside noise. Very friendly and knowledgable staff, thanks!

Excellent place to stay

Excellent hostel Spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms. No meals provided but cooking facilities. Good common sitting and dining rooms and free internet access. Laundry facilities 5€ to wash and dry a load of clothes. The receptionist was a lot more helpful than the staff in the tourist office. Very inexpensive. Check out bar Gauxto in same street for excellent food.
