Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friend and extremely helpful. They made a reservation for us to take a car to O'Hare at 5 a.m. on the day we were leaving. They were very patient and helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wanted to stay near the Magnificent Mile as the hotel was right around the corner.

Check-in was a breeze. When we arrived to the room, the first thing we noticed was how tiny the room was for three andults and two dogs. After moving some things around to make room for our kennels, we noticed there was something that looked like dried vomit on the floor underneath the desk. We walked into the bathroom to get a wet towel and noticed how tiny the bathroom sink was. You could barely wash your hands in it without water splashing everywhere. After cleaning up the dried spot on the floor, we were able to arrange the room to accommodate our dog kennels and still have room to walk around the beds. Aside from the size of the room and bathroom sink, the staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our dogs, always having treats available in the lobby. We probably would not stay there again if our dogs are traveling with us, however, for two adults, the set up is fine.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. This is a no-frills kind of hotel that still feels pretty special given the location. If you are staying in Chicago, this makes a great "home base". The halls were kind of narrow and the elevators were small, limit 5 people (but really smooth given how old the building is!), so if you are very easily claustrophobic, you might have an issue.

After a long drive we arrived, great location in Downtown Chicago, but we were given the absolute worst room in the hotel with a view of a brick wall. I think that room should only be given out if the hotel is completely booked.

Great location within walking distance of the riverwalk and Michigan Ave. It's clean but small. If you only need the room to sleep, it's perfect.
