Best staff

Great hotel, view , food and the best rooftop bartender ever!! Go see Armani and have him make you a cocktail. The best…and with such a pleasant attitude, courtesy and professionalism!
If you go for Breakfast ask to sit in Albert’s section, he’s one of a kind and so attentive!

A forgettable hotel

This is our second time staying here but to be honest the first time was a while back and wasn't memorable. However, I would no longer stay here again. Ill try the St Regis next time.
The service is mixed. Check in service was at the appropriate level for this hotel. The service at the cafe is also good. However, the room issues and servicing our complaints are average. The AC automatically increases the temperature over time so I ended up sweating in the bed overnight. They don't have an issue turning that feature off the next day but it is also ridiculous to have that feature in a luxury hotel. If I wanted to deal with issues like that I would just stay at a regular Marriott. Secondly, the water pressure isn't that great and the drain is broken in the tub so you have to play with it to open or close since the drain handle doesn't do anything.
The location is decent so no complaints there.
There is no service recovery or even an apology and that is where their service just falls flat. If you can't get a decent nights sleep then what is the point? They go back to being another forgettable hotel. The only difference is this time I will remember not to come back.

Awesome

We are on vacation in Michigan for a wedding and stay for one Night in Chicago.
Met Armani and got some great drinks.

10/10 experience with Armani being our bartender. He definitely set the atmosphere for our group. If you’re looking for great drinks and a great time you need to stop by.

The best hotel Chicago

Had such a fun time with Armani!! He is the best bartender, very knowledgeable and makes the best drinks. The view makes it all come together as well!!!
