The cabin is amazing!
I called the day before we arrived to check on some amenities. The person I spoke with was very friendly and informative about the area. The cabin was super clean when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the large jetted tub that was not advertised and there was a grill at the cabin that was not advertised as well.
Cons- The pool was cold for my liking and the hot tub is small.
The front desk person was not at the desk when we arrived. There was a sign stating she was in the laundry room but didn’t state where it was so I had to wander around looking for her.
We couldn’t get the fireplace to work.
Other than these things, really enjoyed our stay!

Great view in Jackman Maine

Resort is an older one. Unit and common areas were very clean. Unit living room furniture was very uncomfortable and needs updating. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was good and all appliances worked. Our view of the mountains was great. We were on the second floor. Lots of stairs no elevator. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

3 Bedroom Cabin at Mountainview

We stayed in #23 the biggest cabin they have(3 bedroom), the cabin was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We did have an issue with no hot water but it was fixed immediately. The deck was in need of repair, along with the main building. The amenities included indoor pool and spa and a pool table. Outside pool was closed. The cabin is located in a very small town. Overall, a nice stay.

Diamond in the rough

Mountainview is a gorgeous place in the middle of nowhere. The cabins are really nice, though the exterior of the lodge needs a new roof and some cosmetic/structural work that is in the works. If you need pristine and lots of activities this is not the place for you. If you love quiet, beautiful views, a nice warm pool and hot tub that is reminiscent of Dirty Dancing times—this is it! We love it here!!

Wonderful stay

Very spacious chalet. Fully equipped kitchen. Pool and hot tub super clean and warm. Perfect for snowmobiling. Close to Jackman town, fuel, groceries, and restaurants. Wonderful view of the mountains.
