Family vacation
The hotel was good, comfortable, and clean. The customer service was good, friendly, and always willing to help. The location is really good, with access to various attractions, restaurants, and transportation.

BEWARE!! PLEASE READ!! This hotel is crooked and thieves. I paid through hotels.com in full. When arriving they charge $100 incidental yes thats normal. Then charge $25 amenities fee wich this hotel has zero amenities. Hotels.com tells you nothing about this. I should have been charged $125 and returned my $100 incidental. 3 days after leaving Miami I see I'm charged $155.19. Thats way more than the fees I just mentioned. First off good luck getting any employee who speaks ENGLISH. Noone and I mean noone is able to do any customer service or answer any questions. Huge Miami hotel and they have zero management to speak to. They tell you to email someone. I have with zero response. Ive called numbers with zero response. Nobody can explain where the extra 30.19 came from. Long story long this hotel is stealing money from people. 3 weeks later and I still have the $155.19 charge. Not even my incidental back wich always comes off after hotel check out. I will be now forced to tell my credit card company the charge was FRAUD. Hotel is dirty, smells bad, Elevators are a nightmare, the bathrooms in the room are smaller than a camper bathroom. Never see staff, they offer a paid breakfast if you are good with $25 pancakes.

Not great
My experience started very positive with texts from "Claudia" (I'm assuming it's an AI generated text) but I was able to request rooms next to each other through text which was super helpful. Everything went downhill once we checked in. There was a "resort fee" added on to our bill upon check in which I really don't understand how they get off calling themselves a resort because it honestly felt like a very low-end hotel that has not been maintained well. For the price I was really disappointed. I stayed here with my family the night before we got on our cruise and was not impressed at all. The entire hotel smelled musty, carpets were gross, there was nowhere to put our luggage other than the floor, nowhere to sit in the room other than the bed, bathroom wasn't clean. Immediately after checking in, I went to the counter to request stands for our luggage, the girl at the desk looked at me like I had two heads and said she would ask if they "have that". When we got back to our room hours later the suitcase stands were not in the room so decided to text "Claudia" and I got a response that housekeeping had left for the night and we would not be able to get any assistance till the morning (aka day of check out for us). I would not recommend this hotel at all.

To start, my group had 3 rooms, my sister’s room had a bug in the bed, hair in the tub and stains on the blanket. My mom’s room had ac issues, my room had to be changed because it was leaking from the ceiling and water had puddled badly on the floor, not to mention a dirty ring around the tub. Staff was nice and said sorry and changed the sheets. The lobby stunk like a dirty mop. It was only 1 night as we came in for a cruise but I would NOT NOT not recommend at all.

Clean, quiet, and safe
My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary on Virgin voyages. We arrived 1 day before embarkation and stayed at the YVE Hotel. It was very clean and quiet. The rooms were were also clean and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Accessible by metro rail and metro mover from MIA . Cost us $2.25 each. There is a 24 hour CVS across the street and the Bayside Marketplace. We loved staying here and particularly the security features such as elevator access with room card ONLY! We plan to come back for a post cruise 2-day stay.
