Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and loved the fresh popcorn.
One of the elevators was out of service for the time we were there - they were waiting for a part to repair. very apologetic and the wait for the elevator wasn't too bad. Valet service was great- never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our car. Would stay there again.

Great location with several nearby restaurants. The front desk staff was amazing. Peter (I think that was his name) was very helpful. He told us about the area, gave us restaurant recommendations and even upgraded are room.

The reason I booked this place was for location and safety. Pretty safe place. Overall this is a good place to stay. One thing, I am an oatmeal eater. On Friday, the oatmeal was not instant and could eat with real silverware, then, Saturday the oatmeal was instant but still could eat it with real silverware, by, Sunday, it was oatmeal in a box where you add water and plastic silverware.

The location was great and easily walkable to the Third Ward. They were oversold on king rooms so I was switched to a 2x queen room which was still fine. The room was huge and easily could fit a family of four with room to spare. The bed and pillows - super comfortable…to the point I forgot to set an alarm and slept until 10am, whoops.
My only complaints: some upholstery staples sticking out of the underside of the desk chair, and the toilet paper. Why are we still making/buying one-ply in 2026? Spend the extra few cents, or - at bare minimum - mention it in the room description so travelers can BYOTP.

Upon check in I was asked if I desired cleaning of my room daily or every other day. I opted for daily. Arrive on a Sat. No cleaning in Sun. On Monday evening the room was still not cleaned. Called front desk, instead of apologizing the response was scheduled for the next day. Tuesday and Wednesday went by still no cleaning. Checked out Thurs AM. Wrote an email to Marriott corporate that Monday night. Received an auto reply that someone would reach out. 72hrs have come and gone with not contact. This just confirms that both corporate and local hotels within its chain are ok with this negligence and unsanitary expense. This is on top of spending almost $1500 for this stay.
Will never stay at another Marriott property. It’s so sad and a negative experience that I have never ever gone thru after staying at many many hotels in my travels. Just be aware
