Amazing hotel and staff. We were there for an event that was taking place somewhere else in the city and at check in they gave us some items that went with the event which was super cool. Love that they are eco friendly by giving us reusable water bottles. They were so nice, friendly, and helpful there. The room itself was clean and I loved that the window could open up a bit for some fresh air.

They catfished the room ,was nothing like their pictures on website . When issue was brought up they basically told me to upgrade or cancel they ain’t care because room was paid for already and was nonrefundable terrible experience room was antiquated the furniture full of bite marks for the price they charge for a room expected way more

We booked this hotel due to the proximity to my son’s university, and based on reviews. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The valet guys all super helpful as well. We arrived at 11pm and the gentleman was quick to help us move the boxes from the bed of the truck into the inside of the truck. We had a lot of boxes for my son’s dorm. We received a free bottle of wine plus two drink tickets. The only down side was that the restaurant closed early. But it’s ok… I loved the lobby area, the library area was super relaxing as well.

Five stars for The Marker! The staff here are generously accommodating and truly made our stay special. We were celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday, and their hospitality made it a trip to remember. Beautiful hotel and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Great spot to stay in SF, quite centrally located on Geary. Rooms are super comfortable and well decorated and the staff was extremely helpful. There is free coffee downstairs in the library in the morning, which is also a great spot to do a little reading. The attached restaurant and bar is quite small but it was nice to get a free drink voucher on check in. The only downside is the proximity to some slightly seedier areas a block down on O’Farrell. On the other hand there is a nice little market across the street for any things you might need and there are a few nice bars just a block west on Geary, as well as some cool restaurants and bars north of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
