Anantara Chiang Mai truthful review
The location was great there were many international stores all around which is really great. The pool is very big and spacious with the pool food which also so great. Including the employees were so kind and helpful as for I criticize Jessie I believe the name is she was very kind even helping us by calling to our room and helping us find lots of food restaurants and so areas also including the experiences. Jessie was so kind finding all the place we went to and was really fluent in Korean which was so helpful for my family who are not good at English or even the language of Chiang Mai Thailand. Everybody there is so kind and helpful, the rooms are so clean and spacious I 10/10 recommend this hotel for both rooms and employees additionally the environment around it.

Feedback and Appreciation – Anantara Chiang Mai Resort Birthday Stay
I will go to Chiang Mai again for two reasons: first, because the views in Chiang Mai are beautiful; second, because the hotel experience was acceptable, though not particularly outstanding. This time we celebrated my wife’s birthday, so I chose Anantara Chiang Mai Resort.
Anantara Chiang Mai Resort upgraded the car that picked us up at the airport. Mr. Jin, a staff member of Anantara, was the first representative of the hotel we met. He was very patient and explained in detail where we should go, since he knew I had not visited Chiang Mai for a long time. The driver (sorry, I forgot to note his name) also gave us detailed introductions to the scenery along the way to the hotel. Mr. Jin would actively ask what he could do for us whenever he saw us at the front door. Miss Bam also proactively offered help when she noticed we looked confused. Most of the front door staff were excellent.
When we checked in, the front office staff, Charles, explained the hotel facilities and benefits in detail, and finally arranged an upgrade for us. The room view was excellent, and the room was decorated for my wife’s birthday, which made her very happy.
I would also like to give special thanks to Miss Ni. We stayed for three days and two nights, and she worked in the breakfast restaurant. She remembered my name, recalled what I ate the previous day, and asked if I wanted the same menu. She also noticed when our drinks were nearly empty and asked if we wanted refills. The hotel’s security staff were also very attentive, ensuring our safe crossings.
However, I have two points that I did not understand. First, I was unsure whether the slippers provided needed to be paid for. One pair was coffee-colored and made entirely of plastic, which I can understand being reusable, but the other pair was not fully plastic, so how could that be environmentally friendly? If the reason is recycling, we will bring our own slippers when we stay at this hotel again. Second, the hotel provided a shaver but not shaving cream, which caused me discomfort and even some pain when using it.
Overall, the hotel’s “software” — staff, service, and environment — was excellent, but the “hardware” — hotel supplies — did not meet my expectations.

A new experience in Chiang Mai
Lovely resort with great breakfast. Room is very spacious overlooking the garden and the river. Most importantly, there is Jim Thompson boutique in the resort. Streed food centre is within walking distance.

A Seamless and Memorable Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Anantara Chiang Mai, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every member of the team made us feel well cared for, and the hotel’s beautiful riverside setting and peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more memorable.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Noom, who handled our check-in professionally and escorted us to our room. His warm hospitality and attention to detail immediately made us feel at home.
The room was beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the amenities were of excellent quality, making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. It truly reflected the high standards of Anantara and exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful Visit with Our Friends
Anantara Chiang Mai conveniently located at the riverside near by Anusarn night market with tranquil views, excellent services, upscale restaurants, amenities to offer, has always one of our favorite places to visit. As a loyal Anantara member, we’re specifically pleased with the front desk staff, Bam, who greeted us with friendly, professional hospitality upon our arrival till we departed this morning, making our stay as comfortable as at home. The only downside is heavily smokey air quality in Chiang Mai during this time.
