Longing to return/ Katarina Nikas

I have nothing to complain about. The hotel is a small nice family-run hotel 100 meters from the sea.
All had a nice reception and were very accommodating.
Good food and breakfast had everything I wanted, just like the pool bar where I could order everything I needed.
I would love to come back in December 2026.

Review of restaurant ONLY

We enjoyed Sun Beach hotel restaurant so much we ate breakfast and dinner here about 8 times over our 4 week holiday.
The food is made to order and trust me, you don't have a long wait for some fabulous food.
Breakfast is great value and the set breakfast includes fruit, juice, coffee and your choice of bacon or sausage with the usual trimmings. (~220 BT from memory)
We enjoyed breakfast so much we returned later that evening for dinner, but before we ate we took advantage of the "happy hour" 2 for 1 drinks ~200 BT great value....
As noted above, we ate here many times which allowed us to try out most of the dishes, all of which were good. Portion size was good but the quality of the cooking and ingredients were FAB and really good value. I should also note, service was great as it is not a busy place, but do not let that put you off.
In all, we found this restaurant to be the best value and quality in the Kata area and we are "foodies".
Great place, if you try, you will be back...guaranteed...ENJOY.

Good location near the beach and 7 Eleven. Helpful staff. They helped with the luggage and offered free raincoats during rain. One of the cons - you are close to the road so you may hear vehicles passing by

Nice family with the best location!

Had received tips from acquaintances who have been there and read all good reviews. Simple family friendly and pleasant hotel. Not very modern but as long as it is clean and fresh it is not so important. Very good location and like 100 m to the beach. The hotel restaurant is great! Homemade food with great flavors! We had room facing the sea but would just as easily have taken towards the road because it was fun to watch all the traffic!

Perfect!

It was perfect for us. Clean, nice staff and the beach just around the corner. At the beach there was two cheap and good restaurants.
