That's great!

Great hotel! I like everything! The staff are very responsive, any request is immediately answered, always with a smile. Rooms are great, breakfasts are good, pool is clean. Everything is very clean, the territory is constantly monitored, even the leaves are not lying, tending the garden, swimming pool. The restaurant cooks delicious, ate constantly in it. It's very beautiful territory. The location is absolutely magnificent! Everyone's here!
I want to come back here

$1000 Baht extra charge for ANY guest in the room!

I’m an over 50 single man traveling to Thailand for the 3rd time usually for a month in Phuket. This time this hotel charges $1000 baht for a guest to come to my room! That should have been posted on the original page for BOOKINGS! As a single man who enjoys the Opposite Sex! Paying $1000 baht per occurrence is Unexpected! Short time hotels charge $400-500. Sooo if your a single man thinking of extra activities in the ROOM BEWARE! It’s ok per management to have th guest I. The lobby or swimming pool as long as they change in the bathroom in the lobby! What trash. Won’t book this place again.

Upon arrival at reception we were told they were ugrading our room to a villa. The villa was wonderful, detached with its own terrace area in a quiet part of the resort. The breakfast was good, a chef will cook you eggs to order, was enough choice for us. The pool area was lovely, plenty of sun and shade to choose from and we always managed to get a couple of sunbeds in the afternoon. The gym was average, only three cardio machines, a few weight machines and dumbbells. No air con only wall mounted fans so it got hot very quickly in there, no towels were provided.
Good location if you like patong, which unfortunate we didnt. The last time we were there was 15 years ago and it has changed so much. Mostly restaurants, very few bars away from bangla rd, which is so crowded it is impossible to have a nice time there.

16 Days in paradise

Really lovely hotel. Location is great. Close enough to enjoy the nightlife and noisy areas. We opted for the Grand Suite. This was one that had just been renovated. It was lovely apart from a few small issues. Jacuzzi didn't have enough power to heat water to use. Shower leaked at bottom of door. But saying that once you told the staff they were quick to sort out the shower issue. We then returned after a few days away to book the room again. But wasn't told no water, so was moved to a Pavilion. Also nice. The only issue with this amazing hotel is the the hotel to the side called Lub D. Its a cheap party hotel that has reception music blaring until early hours. So being in the new refurbished Grand was on the side close. That spoils this hotel for me. Maybe suggestion for hotel is put trees or a screen up to muffle the Lub noise. The staff ARE AMAZING. Manager is great and they ALL cannot do enough for you. This is an honest review of our stay and experience. If it wasn't for the hotel and the noise ( i get it they pay their money too) but its just unfortunate for this lovely hotel and that peace and tranquillity for its surrounding to have that music from 9am-3-4am daily. And this is the reception area not from rooms or guests. But the staff make it. They cannot do enough from the security guard, receptionists, cleaners and handymen. ALL 5*. The pictures don't do it justice. But what pictures Do when you go to Thailand. Restaurant adjoined is nothing tom do with hotel but really nice and decent prices. Partner highly recommends the Strawberry Daiquiri.
