Beautiful but not practical
We booked an executive suite with its own plunge pool. Check in was great, very friendly. The suite was beautiful but not all that practical. There are no facilities on site to get any food or drink yet the suite was not equipped for self catering. We had a kettle and tea/coffee like you would in a hotel but no facilities to prepare food or even plates and cutlery etc if we brought food in.
There are no restaurants or cafes that are practical to walk to (they are not far but it’s a busy road and we did not enjoy the walk). There is a 7-11 store nearby where we did get a few pastries etc for our breakfasts.
The kettle/tea/coffee was downstairs but had to take the kettle upstairs to fill it with water. We ended up taking it all upstairs which meant we didn’t use the downstairs space at all.
The plunge pool was lovely but there were no loungers so we ended up using the main pool and loungers.
We did enjoy our stay and it’s a very relaxing place to be but we ended up getting taxis out for everything, the site would really benefit by having a cafe and bar for residents.

Very disappointing
Review of Villoft Resort
We were genuinely looking forward to our stay at Villoft Resort; however, we left feeling disappointed, as the overall comfort and functionality of the villa prevented us from fully enjoying our time there—particularly considering the premium nightly rate.
Upstairs – Shower & Bathroom
• The shower fittings appear to be of low quality and were already broken, making it difficult to switch between shower heads.
• Water pressure was extremely low, which made showering uncomfortable.
• Water pooled in the shower due to poor drainage design, with the drain positioned higher than the lowest point of the floor.
• The sink plug did not function correctly and had to be manually held open for the sink to drain.
Storage & Layout
• There is very limited storage, especially for a couple.
• Upper cupboards are not practical or accessible; even at 6 feet tall, they were difficult to reach.
• The minibar is located upstairs, which was inconvenient when spending time downstairs, requiring frequent trips up the stairs.
• Lighting in the cupboard area is inadequate; the only light source is when the minibar fridge is opened.
• Only one small suitcase stand is provided.
• There are insufficient power points throughout the villa.
Downstairs Area & Kitchen
• Space under the stairs behind the TV is unused and feels wasted.
• Kitchen facilities are extremely limited. There is no cutlery or cooking utensils—only two teacups, saucers, and teaspoons.
• Only one kettle is provided, and the power cord is too short, requiring it to be awkwardly balanced on the table.
• There are no facilities for cooking or reheating food.
• There is no suitable space to store suitcases.
• No chairs are provided to sit by the pool.
Comfort & Accessibility
• The downstairs seating area is very low, making it uncomfortable, particularly for elderly guests or those with knee or back issues.
• The stairs are tiring to use, very slippery, and feel unsafe, especially with frequent trips between levels.
Value for Money
At $440 per night, we did not feel the villa offered value for money. While the plunge pool is appealing, the lack of comfort and practicality significantly detracted from our experience.
• These villas may be more suitable for a single traveler staying one to two nights rather than a couple on a longer stay.
• There are visible cracks in the concrete rendering around the pool, and parts of the villa appear structurally uneven.
• Although the landscaping looks attractive, it is not functional, as suitcases cannot be wheeled to or from the villa and must be carried.
Overall, while the villa photographs well, the design prioritizes appearance over comfort and usability. Unfortunately, due to these issues, we were unable to relax and enjoy our stay as we had hoped.

It’s a super nice Japanese style resort, we stayed in the two bedroom Villa, it’s just so beautiful. And 5mins walk to 7/11, tops and laundry, convenient to buy what you need. But not close to the tourist place, we rent a car so it wasn’t a problem at all. If something could improve, the mattress was a bit rough, we can feel the springs slightly in the mattress. But still, it’s such a lovely place to stay, will come back again.

From the moment we arrived everything was very smooth. We arrived 2 hours before check in time and they still checked us in, our villa was clean
