The hotel is perfect - the rooms are very clean but the reception staffs abd the wneeds improvement - we waited for 3hrs to check in actually we arrived a bit early but their service is very very poor - and we are not happy waiters as well

Very Disappointing Experience — Far Below Five-Star Standards

I booked a two-night stay at Crowne Plaza Antalya, specifically requesting a quiet room on a higher floor, and booked a sea view room. Although I booked a week in advance, my room was not ready at the 2:00 p.m. check-in time and I had to wait until around 2:30 p.m after an overnight flight. The only explanation given was that the hotel was busy. I was then placed in a first-floor room by the lobby, with a view of the parking area — the opposite of what I had requested. If the room I requested was not available, I would have expected the hotel to contact me in advance and let me know. Instead, my request was simply neglected. An extra bed was in the room, which I didn't request, and it made the room less convenient to use. I also found the “sea view” room description misleading. The room had a parking-area view, with only a small part of the sea visible from the side. I was later told that a genuine sea view is classified as “front sea view.” If that is the case, the standard “sea view” description is unclear and can easily mislead guests. After an overnight flight, I desperately needed rest, but I was kept awake by noise from the lobby - anyone talking could be heard in the room - and by neighboring guests dragging chairs across the floor. The next morning, I asked to speak with the hotel manager because I wanted to change my room. Instead of acknowledging my request and taking the necessary steps to accommodate it, the receptionist, Rim, called out loudly in Turkish toward the back office, “She wants another room.” This behaviour was more appropriate for a fish market than a five-star hotel. While I was still there explaining my concern with the room and waiting for my request to be accommodated, someone she knew jumped in and she started laughing with him. I asked, “Is that funny?” Only after I pressed the issue did she say that she was also a manager - it seemed she was offended by my request to speak to a manager - and she then finally called the hotel manager. To be fair, the hotel manager was professional and moved me to another room on a higher floor, which I appreciated. However, my experience has already been ruined, and the poor manners of the receptionist and her unprofessional communication were completely inappropriate. This is well below the standards expected from hotel staff — not only in a five-star hotel, but in any customer-facing hospitality position. In addition, not all restaurant staff speak English, and no one ever came to take my order unless I actively sought them out. The restaurants just across the street offer much better service and wider variety of food.

Amazing view of the sea and fantastic service.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The front desk service from Ela and Tuna Kormans and Goksel was exceptional. Even though our room was not ready, they offered us a drink and made us feel welcome. They also acknowledged our IHG level membership and provided a nice welcome gift with a bottle of wine and fruit. Our room had a direct view of the sea and the beach right across the street. As well as the pool below. Antalya is so big that it takes about 23 minutes by car to get to Old Town but we knew that before we reserved. Otherwise, the location would be fantastic.
5 star service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I’d stay again.

This hotel finds itself on the outskirts of what you would class as the tourist Antalya. 30 mins from the airport.
The rooms are dated for the age of the hotel and the beds are ‘solid’ almost concrete like but after a few nights it becomes refreshing
Currently one side of the hotel has building works, a new hotel is being erected and building works are 12 hours a day, 6 days away week, I would say the sound proofing for the age of the hotel was poor, but it wasn’t off putting like the night club atop of the hotel.
The facilities are what make it stand out for its age, full spa and sauna in the basement, 8am till midnight, 7 days a week. It also has a tunnel to the local beach open 12 hours a day which is beneficial with the busy road at the rear and no access apart from the front.
The front of house and greeting staff are next level and very welcoming, made the stay a bit easier!

Disappointing

I was there the year before, very good, but for the second stay, a huge disappointment!!!! hammam and jacuzzi only for VIP guests, they made us pay 400 euros more at check-in because of a 2-month error on my son's date of birth!!!! in short, I will not return.

Concernant l’accès au hammam et au jacuzzi, nous souhaitons préciser que les conditions d’accès à certains espaces et services peuvent dépendre de la formule ou du type de réservation. Nous regrettons toutefois que ces conditions n’aient pas été suffisamment claires pour vous avant ou pendant votre séjour.
Concernant le supplément de 400 € demandé lors du check-in, nous comprenons parfaitement que cette situation ait été particulièrement désagréable. Les tarifs appliqués lors de l’enregistrement sont déterminés selon les informations et conditions associées à la réservation. Une différence dans les informations relatives à la date de naissance peut effectivement nécessiter une vérification ou une modification de la réservation. Néanmoins, nous regrettons que cette situation ait contribué à donner une impression négative dès votre arrivée.
Nous sommes également désolés que ces différents éléments aient profondément influencé votre perception de notre établissement, d’autant plus que votre précédent séjour avait été très satisfaisant.
Nous respectons naturellement votre décision et vous remercions malgré tout pour votre retour, qui nous permet d’identifier les points nécessitant davantage de clarté et d’attention.
Nous espérons néanmoins avoir, à l’avenir, l’occasion de vous faire retrouver l’expérience positive que vous aviez connue lors de votre premier séjour.
