Wonderful service, excellent location

Wonderful service, very clean hotel, just heart of the city centre, close to everywhere, Grand Bazaar is 5 min on food, Sultanahmet 10min on food, receptionist was so kind very helpful, fantastic breakfast, Thank you so much for your hospitality I will come back again.

Good location, friendly staff, boorish and rude owner

Stayed at the hotel from 03/10/19 to 7/10/19. Everything was ok until the last day. We checked out at noon and asked if we could keep our luggage in the storage room until we leave the hotel. Our plane was at 2.a.m. the next day, so we were planning to get a taxi and go to the airport at around 10.30. p.m. The lady at the reception desk (who turned out to be the owner) refused saying that we could stay in the lobby until 6 p.m, then we had to leave the hotel. When I asked why we couldn't wait in the hotel she just said "because you can't" without giving any sensible reason for this. I tried to explain, that we didn't have a place to keep our belongings and we would like to spend some more time in the city. Her answer was "you can wait at the airport or pay me for staying here". us. She was literally throwing us out and extorting extra money for just staying inside. Moreover, she starting yelling and obviously swearing in turkish. We left. Explaining the situation, I asked the people at the business next door if we could keep our things on their premises. They didn't mind. Besides, they said that this was not the first time the clients had clashes with the notorious lady. I don't recommend this hotel to anybody. Just stay away if you want to keep good memories and leave Istanbul in a good mood. This was the worst hotel experience I'd had in my life.There are many hotels to choose from in the area. Emos is the one to avoid because of its mean owner.

Emos

It was my first visit from April 21 till 25 to Emos. Friendly staff. They speak English. Delicious breakfast at the 7 th floor.room was clean , moderate not so small. We had the chance to meet the hotel owner (Miss ⁸Amina) she was so nice , hope she is like this with all the customers.
Very good location.
For airport transportation, check with the hotel . It will be much easier.

Horrible hotel

This lady stole our bags and took 90 Usd per day although the rate mentioned on booking is 45 USD , when we asked her to call the police she refused and called her stuff to fight with us , we complained at our embassy and they are taking care of this matter now , dirty , bad hotel

Good hotel, good service

Warm welcoming and charged as booked. Cleaning rooms every day, changing towels as well. Breakfast is excellent content and timing.
The only recommendations if you’re in rush to fly leave the area earlier, the wholesale area constantly loading and unloading goods creates traffic jam.
