Lalahan is the right choice!

I stayed at Lalahan from January 15 to January 19 with my girlfriend!
The hotel is newly built and the rooms are really comfortable and beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and 2 kinds of pillows for each so you can choose the one that best suits one that I think is really well thought out
All İ reception can fluent English and are really helpful!
The hotel has breakfast included and there is a large selection of fresh ingredients!
All I can say is you for everything for the money by choosing this hotel, close to the center and always easy to get from a to b

Pay attention to 'Turkish upgrade'

Pay attention: Hotel Lalahan consists of two hotels: Lalahan Hotel (nice and clean) and Ilkay Otel (terrible).
We bought a package from the Turkish Airlines website that included flight tickets and a hotel stay. We selected Lalahan Hotel. When we arrived, the receptionist told us we had received an upgrade. However, when we entered the room, we found it smelled strongly of mold, the furniture was damaged, and the room was dirty. The smell was especially difficult to tolerate because our son has asthma.
We were sure that our reservation was for Lalahan Hotel, as stated in our booking confirmation. We asked for another room, and the next day a different receptionist offered us a new one. The new room was much better—clean, with a pleasant smell and nice furniture.
That was when we discovered that there are actually two hotels managed as one.
We are not sure why they tried to mislead us, but this is why I strongly suggest paying close attention to these details.

Very loud, central and no nice "blue" tiles

The hotel is directly on a busy street and the tram runs through there every few minutes and rings.
This was to be expected, but the room only has single glazing, meaning the noise is virtually complete in the room.
If you are looking forward to the bathroom with the beautiful blue tiles: forget it! The room is decorated in an old-fashioned brown.
Pros: The room is very clean!
Plus-minus list:
+ Zentral: 12 min walk to SultanAhmetMosque, 5 min walk to Gölhane Park at Topkapi Palace, 12 min walk to Eminönü Ferry Station and Havaist 11 Bus Station
+ Breakfast buffet in the associated "Red River" restaurant is very good and varied - worth it
+ Very clean rooms
+ 1 small serving of water for each day
+ Air conditioning relatively quiet
+ Complete small refrigerator (empty)
- Very loud and no insulation (better in the middle than just doing it)
- No one was at the reception on arrival. I guess it was an exception. All the other times there was always someone there.
- We had a problem with the safe in the evening - could not open it. Unfortunately, the "technician" was not able to help until 10 a.m. the next morning.
- Room not like in most pictures ("blue tiles")

We had a lovely two-night stay at this hotel. It is located at a very central location with friendly people at the front desk. They were very helpful in letting us use the phone for some calls and printing out a document.
Clean room with a comfortable bed. We were on the first floor and could hear the trams but were not too loud.
Breakfast spread was decent, but some fruit was mouldy on the first day.

Central, clean and family friendly hotel.

Super well located hotel, 10 minutes from the main monuments: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Very clean. No carpet. Comfortable bed. Very rich and varied breakfast. Super friendly staff. We were offered a room superior to the contract. I would repeat without a doubt!
