A great find in Clifton Village
A gem in the heart of Clifton.
Conveniently positioned bus stop out the front.
Heaps of great food outlets, not least the hotels own restaurant.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Highly recommend

Staying in a sweaty oven
I am staying here tonight. Top floor (3rd) no lift. Super hot day. No fan.
The place is an oven.
Useless guy in reception (he agrees) can only tell me what he can’t do.
Hotel should either buy fans and tell guests they have to climb 3 floors or should not sell the room. Very bad practice. Oh and paid £360 for the pleasure (my friend’s room has a window that does not open but al least he’s got a small £15 fan

A great overnight stay in the middle of Clifton
Lovely quirky and bijou hotel in a great location - it even has a small garden! Greta staff and fabulous served breakfast. will definitely be back.

Amazing stay in Bristol with some room for improvement
LOCATION. Placed in Clifton, the best quartier of Bristol, the premises seem like an old building renovated. The hall is essential, while the breakfast/dinner room and the bar are very well-furnished. The room is nice and has just the space you need. Improvements could regard the armchair (very little space for clothes) and the shower (modern yet with some handles to calibrate the quantity and temperature of water). The moquette on the floor is quite old-style. The boiler for a tea at every hour is a plus. Air conditioning missing is a big flaw, in spite of the presence of a fan: considering the humidity of this part of England, high temperatures create a devastating condition inside of the room. Mark: 7/10.
BREAKFAST. What a nice breakfast it was! One can have a buffet of pastries, yoghurts, juices, cereals and similar items. The real excellence comes directly from the kitchen, where the chef is ready to prepare one of the fresh meals on the menu (all English/American breakfast style, just the waffle for the continental breakfast). As for the dinner, very well-prepared food, nice and tasty. Mark: 9/10.
SERVICE. Every single member of the staff is nice, welcoming and ready to satisfy your needs. Need cutlery? Here it is! Need takeaway breakfast? Here it is! Need a charger? Here it is! Mark: 10/10
PRICE. Booking via Booking (what a funny pun) is convenient: circa €100/night (£90). Breakfast and dinner, if not included, cost £20 each (one meal for the breakfast, two dishes for the dinner included). Mark: 9/10.
