Visit to Cambridge

This guest house was very good value for money. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and showed us the facilities available in the kitchen. The room was exceptionally pristine with a good supply of tea, coffee, milk and even bottled water. There is also a good bus service into the city nearby so once we had parked up we used the local buses.

Lovely place to stay.

Me and my friend stayed here for her 40th birthday. A weekend away in Cambridge. Nice walk along the river to the town centre. We are fast walkers and the distance was approximately 30 minute walk. Autumn House was lovely. Very clean modern. It had everything you need including iron, iron board, hairdryer, towels, slippers, wifi and tv. There was plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and water in the room for us. We stayed in the king room. Bed was very comfortable. Room and bathroom were lovely and warm.
Breakfast was help yourself to cereal, toast, yoghurts and tea and coffee.
The host came and met us on the first morning, who was lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Best B&B

Autumn House is the best B&B I have stayed in. Parking is outside and safe. Location to Cambridge centre great. 45 minutes walk. Bus stops outside. Al is the best host you could ever meet. He has maps and information and knows his city so well. The rooms are lovely and so so clean. Breakfast of cereal and toast a nice touch. Faultless.

Recommended B&B, I would go back

Fantastic b&b, spotlessly clean, comfortable.
Bus in the immediate vicinity.
Al, owner, Italian-English, friendly, easy-going, very kind. Adequate price. Superlative single room.

The cleanest guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in!!

My daughter and I stayed 1 night as we were going out in Cambridge…I wish we could have stayed longer!
This was the cleanest guest house I have ever stayed in, not a speck of dust anywhere…you’d believe it had just been refurbished! Great host in Al who was there when we arrived, he’d already sent lots of info in advance on buses from the station etc but gave us helpful tips on transport for the evening. We didn’t use the kitchen or have time to partake of the cereal and yoghurts provided free unfortunately but little touches like slippers and water in the room were very nice. The bathroom was huge!
There was traffic noise as we were at the front but the comfortable bed and pillows made sure we weren’t aware of it for long as we were fast asleep! I hope we get to come back again soon,
