Angelman Weekend
We had interconnecting rooms, which were lovely and spacious, with very comfortable beds — something I find hard to find these days!
All of the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly helpful and welcoming, but I would especially like to mention the restaurant and bar staff. The waiting staff were so polite, friendly and went the extra mile. They were incredibly patient and understanding with all the Angelman children and adults. Nothing seemed to phase them, and they worked so hard throughout the whole weekend.
The food we received at the was all delicious, with a great selection to choose from. Everything was very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you so much to everyone for all your hard work and kindness. It really made our weekend even more enjoyable.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to come back again next year!

Decent room ruined by lack of aircon
I know this as a fact as last year when I arrived, the room I was given was really hot and the aircon did not work and they kindly moved me to another room which it did work. I was very impressed with that service.
They noted there are fans in the room. The fan in question was a dual heater / dan and was laughable as a fan. Literally would not push a tissue across a table. Given it was on the hottest night of the year, this was zero help.
I wouldn't mind if the room was discounted but it was more expensive this time than for exactly the same weekend last year. Not by much but it certainly has not been discounted for the lack of aircon.
So from my perspective, if a room with aircon costs £30 extra per night and the room I stayed in had no aircon then the price of that room has effectively been increased by £30 a night since last year (50%).
I'm sure the better room might have had other advantages but given that I would have only been paying the extra £30 for aircon, this is how I would perceive it.
Shame as last year I literally mailed the hotel to say what a good stay I had. This year I came away with a very bad taste in my mouth. I expect more from the Hilton brand.
