A nice quiet place to stay, a short drive from town.
There was a small issue upon arrival when we were greeted by Sally. Terry wasn’t home and on check-in Sally saw that there were four of us, for two rooms. She didn’t say that she was expecting two people for one room and showed us to room 1- a very nice, large room with a double and twin bed, seating area, nice bathroom, and room 5- a very small room with two twin beds, overlooking the driveway. When she left and I checked our reservation, I went to find her and asked if room 5 was considered a superior room and showed her my confirmation for two superior rooms. She quickly moved us to room 2- a room similar to room 1 and we were quite relieved. Room 5 is very, very basic.
Something to be aware of is that they require cash payment. Yes, the deposit is done with a credit card but they will not allow use of a credit card to pay the balance. I could not find this information anywhere in my correspondence with them, or in my confirmation. Fortunately Sally told us this the day before our departure, and told us to “find a bank” if we didn’t have the cash. I don’t know why they don’t make this clear ahead of time.
The breakfasts were included and were very good with made to order hot items.
All in all, a nice, quiet place to stay for anyone with a car.

A Real Gem in Derry … Highly Recommend!
Sally and Terry are wonderful hosts and the staff are all so lovely. We have been fortunate enough to stay many times. The bedrooms are of exceptional quality with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and great ensuites.
Breakfast in the elegant dining room is wonderful with beautiful service and food. Lovely local produce cooked to perfection.
There is also a guest kitchen which is a real bonus for a cuppa and snacks. There is also free WiFi throughout the house.
It’s also great as it is a Non Smoking House and there is a nice patio outside to facilitate smokers. The location is great. It’s nice and quiet.
