The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well worth a try with plenty of options.
Lovely place to stay close to the railway station.

Great B&B

We were visiting the area on a Golf trip.
The rooms were very clean,the breakfast was nice.It was a 5 minute walk into town which had lots of good food places.
Freda was really helpful with any request.
There was off road parking too.
We would all definitely use again.

We stayed in the Annex and it was beautiful and private. It was updated, bright and clean. However the bed and couch desperately need to be replaced. The couch was broken and hitting the floor and the bed was old and springy. Also, we got great recommendations for dinner, but once we decided to go eat we were informed by every single restaurant that we needed a reservation. That would have been good to note ahead of time since that seems to be well known in downtown Dumfries. I would still highly recommend this place.

Were not able to park at the premises but ample cheap parking across the road at the train station. Would have preferred feather pillows as that is my preference but apart from that room was lovely .

Yet Another Excellent Stay

My friend and I returned for another stay at this lovely guest house. Rooms are decorated to a high standard, lots of choices in the hospitality tray and spotlessly clean.
We had booked a double room but our lovely host, Freda offered us her annex out the back as there was more room, what a lovely accommodation, lovely large sofa in seating area, with large TV and small fridge, lovely bathroom with large walk in shower and in better weather there is a small patio area with a table and chairs to relax outside.
Excellent breakfast in the morning for a more than reasonable price.
My friend and I have already booked to go back in June and then again in December.
Only a short walk to the centre of town and right across from the train station.
Would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely B&B.
