We had a lovely room overlooking the river, would recommend paying the extra for this. We were going to a gig at SWG3 so the location was so handy. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast was brilliant value. We also really enjoyed chilling out in the pool and sauna in the morning before breakfast.

Good location and good buffet breakfast. We had a suite and it was too hot to sleep. We asked reception 4 times over 4 days to have maintenance look at the cooling in the room and nothing was done. I couldn’t even sit in the room to read a book. The car park was confusing for visitors so watch out you don’t get fined!

Weekend stay

This is now 3 years that I have been visiting this fabulous Hotel … it is great location with easy access to city centre and trendy Finnieston where you will find restaurants and bars within walking distance of course that is if you can resist the Sunday Roast which is a belt buster with the large portions but deliciously devoured and staff very friendly and welcoming especially as I have known them now a long time … I always pay extra to get a room with a view and it certainly is a view and lounge access… the nibbles are plentiful the only thing I would like is maybe a cider option ? .. the room is very comfortable and well maintained… Breakfast is a large area so a pleasant open aspect and plenty of choice and staff very attentive and always met with a cuddle especially Mandy … from the minute I arrive with my Mum the experience from the Reception staff and the lovely Concierge I just look forward to my next visit .. Thank you Crowne Plaza for making my Mum and I enjoy our weekend again xx Amanda and Jean

High recommendation to stay at Crowne Plaza Glasgow

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow last week. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming and well run, with excellent facilities and a very pleasant atmosphere throughout.
A particular mention must go to Euan on the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. He went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of and made a great first impression. He also commended my status as a platinum elite member by giving me an upgrade which is subject to availability.
I would also like to commend Robyn in the Lounge, who provided outstanding service. She was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, making the time spent in the Lounge particularly enjoyable. Everyone in the lounge enjoyed her banter and she made us all feel so welcome
Both Euan and Robyn are a real credit to the Crowne Plaza and demonstrate the level of customer service that makes a hotel stay memorable. I would also add that all of the staff were brilliant and they always are. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and will certainly look forward to staying again.

Great stay but bad lifts

Excellent location, felt like a quality hotel when we arrived, nice vibe and smell, sauna and steam room were great and not to busy. Slept so well, the climate control in the room is perfect, would stay just for that. Only downer is the lift situation which is beyond a joke when it's busy, people on the way down waiting 10 minutes to get down. Without the lift situation it would be perfect.
