Nice but not perfect stay
We booked our stay here for a funeral in Inverness - what I will say are the staff are so lovely, kind, and couldn’t do enough and we did enjoy our stay - we did think £370 for two nights without breakfast was quite expensive but this is July - our room was basic and out dated terrible stain on the only seat in room with a brick wall view and a bit dusty but my brother had a nicer room so there are nicer than what we got - we went for breakfast on our first morning and being vegan they said they could accommodate vegans sadly tho on the day we were charged 16.50 each when on the site it says £14 for breakfast so I don’t know if coffee and juice were extra ?? There was nothing to say what was included as there were cereals, yogurt you could have had and fruit,cheese, cold meat etc - I had a vegan breakfast but sadly the lovely Kian had to come out and tell me the sausages were not vegan so my breakfast consisted of a little beans mushrooms half a tomato and a small potato scone there was no offer of some avocado to replace sausage just no offer of anything else at all so £16.50 was an expensive vegan breakfast oh and dry toast as no vegan spread was offered either but having said that my partner and my brothers Scottish breakfast was delicious sadly tho we found breakfast elsewhere on the second morning after we checked out and paid £7.95 for vegan Scottish and £8.50 for Scottish breakfast tea was £2 but unlimited nobody could finish it. I would pay £16.50 for breakfast but I expect everything on it vegan sausage isn’t hard to find mother is square sausage and vegan black pudding and spread for toast it’s not difficult to get. But again the staff were sooooo nice so there’s that ❤️

Toilet in room was disgusting when we arrived. However, we alerted the manager and it was resolved quickly. Room was hot and muggy without air conditioning but we knew there was none. We asked for and received a fan which helped. Food in restaurant was REALLY good aside from terrible hamburger. Bar was nice. We heard loud music from a reception until 12:30 am.

The staff were friendly and polite. But we were disappointed, firstly as though we had booked for 3 people, the room was only set up with towels, mugs and hangers for 2. There were just 2 sole hangers in the wardrobe. The bathroom had not been cleaned well and was dirty in the corners of the room, the bathroom bin was very dirty and stained, the bed sheets were not clean. There was no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner bottles provided (only one hand soap bottle that was almost empty hanging in the shower). It was a very small room for 3 people especially when the sofa bed is open, though it was advertised as suitable for 3 adults. The location was good as within walking distance of the city centre. Parking on site was also available. We were only informed of noisy events happening on site after we had completed the booking online and were offered the chance to pre request a "quiet" room. We did this however on the Saturday, there was a party downstairs and this was very loud (just beneath our room) which continued well past the pre-agreed time of 11.30pm. It was almost midnight by the time the area was quiet and all the partygoers and organisers had finally left. No fans were provided even though it was so hot due to the heatwave so we had to leave windows open and had to hear the loud music blaring throughout the party. The room had no air conditioning either.

Reasonable for the price, great location
Stayed for 4 nights. The location is great just a short walk to town.
When we checked in the room we were given had not been cleaned and the receptionist went to ‘check’ before she gave us another room which I thought was odd but they sorted us out quickly.
We only had one cup for tea and there wasn’t a bin in the room but it was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and had a bath. I did ask for another cup and more tea and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Lots of parking but it was tight to get out and very busy for our stay

The lobby and restaurant were nice and nicely kept but the upstairs rooms were really rundown in the back portion of the hotel. They were clean, but the walls were banged up and scratched, the linens were old, there was no anti-slip mat in the tub and no rails to grip. The mirror frame had been partially melted by a desk lamp. We looked at several rooms and they were all like this. It was also difficult to get to our room as the stairs went up and down and then back up again.
The staff were either extremely helpful or wouldn't move from behind the desk, depending upon who was working. The food in the restaurant was decent. It was a short walk to downtown. The woman who seemed to be in charge was very nice.
