Fashioned for its era but not old fashioned at all!

The Edwardene… As spectacular as the name might imply. Grand welcome, great room, fabulous hosts, and charming hostesses serving breakfast. The daily specials were incredible; American pancakes, crispy bacon and maple syrup or smoked haddock kedgeree vs a sumptuous full breakfast plus all the extras.
So convenient for Keswick and the surrounding area. We hope to be back soon.

Clean room, friendly and engaging proprietor, excellent breakfast, and a superb location for walking around Keswick!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely clean room with everything you need for a short stay. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very close to the centre of Keswick but very quiet

I have stayed in many B&B’s in Keswick and having just spent two nights at The Edwardene for the first time, this is now my favourite. We stayed in a twin room called ‘The Osprey’ and needed a very late check in, which was no hassle to the owners who made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean, bright, well furnished and had a lovely view of the mountains. The toiletries provided are locally made and were top quality. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were also provided with delicious Border Biscuits. I had Eggs Royale for breakfast and it was the best one I have ever had. I can also highly recommend the full English. The whole property from the outside to inside is exceptionally kept. It is just a 5 minute walk into the centre so is also a great place to stay location wise. Was able to easily park on a near by street. The whole experience was excellent value for money. Do not hesitate to book this charming bed and breakfast which is run by exceptional hosts. We will most definitely be back!
