Good value premium option in Leeds
We stayed for 3 nights in July and booked Junior Suite.
Check in was by Alicia who is very friendly and provided all needed information as well as allocated us room on a 6th floor to minimise the traffic noise. I was concerned about commotion coming from interconnecting door as it was an issue few years ago but I have heard nobody so perhaps they were kind enough not to accommodate anyone next door as judging by number of people in the lounge - it probably was not that busy.
I had a lunch once and really enjoyed it - it was chicken schnitzel. I worked on Fri and wifi was good and stable.
Nespresso machine in the room did not work and kettle did not look clean so I refrain from using it.
Windows open for less than a centimetre, I wish it was more as you cannot ventilate properly that way.
What I find noteworthy is that toiletries in dispensing bottles were of good quality and are from a niche English brand called Antipodes- unlike these you find in Marriott or Hilton which are terrible and dry out your skin.
Lounge was pleasant, happy hour is quite early from 5 to 7 so it might be difficult for those on a business trip to actually benefit from it. On a day I was working I was only able to arrive at 6.45. Special mention to a very efficient young host who is doing an amazing job there. He is real credit to the place. After happy hour is over, the lounge has 1-2 people remaining in it so I enjoyed staying there instead of sitting in my room. Drinks are served to the table by the host in large glasses. I think it is better system than self serve. Food offering is very limited to snacks so either have big lunch or go for a dinner afterwards.
Check out is at 11 am which is an hour earlier than other hotel chains so we have asked to extend it in line as I have silver membership.
Overall is was pleasant and good value stay.

Ok hotel, good for the money
It was an average budget style hotel, I had in my head prior to arriving crown plaza was a luxury brand it’s not, the room was fine but the bathroom was in need of attention to get rid of the mould on the tiles, the pool was the reason we booked our 1 night stopover stay and it was good but again at the edges of the poool and around the jacuzzi there was some black and green mould not a good deep clean, verbal id say it was good value for money

Great experience
Great hotel with excellent friendly staff. Shout out to Yasser who is always very friendly and professional.

Disappointing
We have been staying at this hotel over many years and always found it to be excellent. On this occasion, however, we were very disappointed.
The rooms were air-conditioned, but the public areas were oppressively hot with no air-conditioning. We therefore did not use the bar.
We were very disappointed with the room as the sink was cracked and there was mould on the silicon around the bath.
The staff were as ever excellent.

Excellent
We stayed for our daughter graduation.
We had the best time ,hotel staff were amazing,especially Yasser who deal with any concerns we had and went the extra mile for us ,so thank you Yasser and the rest of the team on reception.
Restaurant staff were lovely and the food was excellent.
Would highly recommend staying at this hotel 100 %
