A Warm Welcome That Kept Us Coming Back

We have stayed at Hayley's Hotel for the past three years while visiting our daughter at the University of Leeds, and it has become our home away from home.
The hotel is situated in a quiet, leafy area, yet is within easy walking distance of the shops, cafés, and restaurants in Headingley. The staff are exceptional—always warm, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay.
The beds are extremely comfortable, and the hotel offers a good selection of en-suite rooms in different sizes. While the hotel is generally well maintained, there are a few minor maintenance issues that could be addressed. For example, the shower tray in Room 30 has had a repaired crack for the past three years. Although it is functional, replacing it would enhance the overall standard of the room.
Breakfast is consistently excellent, with a generous selection of tasty options. The extended breakfast serving hours are particularly appreciated, as they allow guests to enjoy a relaxed start to the day without feeling rushed.
A special mention must go to the team during our final stay for our daughter's graduation. As we had extended family joining us, they thoughtfully arranged a separate breakfast room so that all nine of us could sit together around one table. It was a small gesture that made a very special occasion even more memorable, and we were extremely grateful for their kindness and attention to detail.
With our daughter now graduating, we will miss our regular visits to Leeds—and, just as much, our stays at Hayley's Hotel, which has been a welcoming and comfortable home from home over the past three years.

Lovely old building(s) as we were in the annexe. A little tired in some places but overall well maintained, spacious and good facilities. Staff were exceptionally efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection and quality was also superb. Free parking a bonus. Many thanks - we’d definitely stay again!

Pleasant stay in Haley’s hotel

We stayed here whilst visiting Leeds for our daughter’s graduation. The hotel is set within a leafy suburb, full of character and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on the second floor was very warm and we had been provided with 2 fans which was helpful. The bathroom was clean with adequate towels for our use. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Written information is provided on the history of the building and the surrounding area of Headingley, which was insightful, interesting and added a nice touch. It may be worth considering developing this information into a leaflet. There is a dedicated seated area outside the front of the hotel. We ate dinner at Tada and also Rudy’s pizza, both in Headingley, during our stay.

Large, beautiful room. Really friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that we would have changed would be for breakfast to stay open until 10am instead of 9.30am
