Even though we booked in January (and they took payment the week before we were due to stay in early June), we were told they had double booked. But if that was the case, the other party must have booked after they took our payment, however it was our room they cancelled. We were attending a wedding a few minutes away from the hotel, but we ended up having to stay in Leeds city centre with a significantly higher cost. To be avoided.

However out of 6 windows, one had a black blind, two had non-blackout white blinds, and two had no blinds at all. We had eye masks but were woken about 4.45am by the light.

Great place
The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. One of the best features was the full cooking facilities, which made our stay much more convenient and saved us money which always is a bonus. There was a fridge freezer, oven, pots and pans, utensils, and everything needed to prepare and cook our own meals rather than eating out every day.
We did have a small issue with a broken fan during our stay, but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Donna the housekeeper replaced it without any problems and was extremely helpful throughout. Every time we saw her, she checked in to ask if we needed anything and made sure we were comfortable. She also took the time to recommend some excellent restaurants in Leeds, which we really appreciated.
Overall, it was a really pleasant place to stay. Having the option to cook for ourselves was a big plus. We would definitely consider staying here again if we're back in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others visiting Headingley or Leeds.

Pleasant stay.
The area was quiet, 5 minutes drive into the city centre or you can catch any bus from over the road.
Our room was spotless, we had everything we needed. Everything you need to cook a meal, full size fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washer.
The house keeper Donna was very helpful and very polite.
We will definitely stay again when we visit leeds
