Amazing Location and Super Friendly Staff!

We had a fantastic stay at Victory House London. I admit I was a bit reluctant at first about staying right in busy, tourist-filled Leicester Square, but I was pleasantly surprised. Even though our room overlooked the square, outside noise was barely noticeable. You truly can't beat the location—it made getting around London incredibly easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The breakfast included in our package was served at the LSQ Rooftop Bar at Hotel Indigo, a partner hotel just a one-minute walk away. It was the perfect way to start each day, and the service there was equally outstanding and welcoming.
As for room size, it's worth noting that the rooms are a bit compact. However, this is entirely common and standard for hotels in central London, including the multinational hotel chains. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making excellent use of the available space.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a centrally located hotel with exceptional service.

VICTORY HOUSE IS HELL

It was an awful experience staying in the Victory House Leicester Square Hotel. It is not a hotel, it is hell, for the following reasons: the check-in counter is like a kitchen, the hallways are dark and smelly, the floors squeak, the rooms are small and no amenities whatsoever, the bathroom smells like a sewer, you have to go to another hotel for breakfast and pass through homeless people sleeping infront of the two hotels, the food there is tasteless and some rotten, the staff do not care about how you feel. I can go on and on. The bottom line is, I had travelled all over the world for so many years and I have never ever so upset with a hotel like this one. Stay away from it if you do not want to ruin your stay in London.

Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel for our city break but this provided everything we wanted.Great location, comfy bed & friendly staff!

Dirty

Moldy mildewed bathroom (pictured), toilet flush button broken, dirty hallways and room carpets, hot stinky hallways (no AC except in rooms), cracked bathroom sink, bathroom floor cracked and sloped like a funhouse, towels smelled like they were not clean, very dirty stairwell, one lift broken completely and the other only worked going down (which meant we had to carry our suitcases up 6 stories AND the motion activated lights in the stairwell were out on the first through third floors), inside of lift was dirty. Would not recommend. The front desk employees were very understanding and apologetic (however unable to refund or even switch rooms as hotel was completely full). I tried to cancel with Trivago as soon as I saw my room condition, but I chose the “non-refundable” option when I booked and was unable to cancel. Pros: Good location between Soho and Theatre District. Located in a historic building with beautiful exterior but inside design is nothing special.

Portrayed as a 4-star hotel; not true!!!

Despite catering to the tourist trade there are no European or international electric plugs in the hotel! None of my devises would work; I come from Switzerland. There is no wardrobe in the room (armoire or closet) and I had a deluxe room at 1200 Pounds for 4 nights. The one elevator works...more or less, the other has been out of order for months! The location is perfect West End, the staff are wonderful despite all the drawbacks. I would NEVER stay here again!!!
