Brilliant Hotel

This small hotel is fantastic. We stayed in an Ensuite room the shower was so good. The location is so good too. The staff are so friendly. The Thursday night disco isn't as bad as other reviews say just like being abroad really. Would we stay again you bet we would. Oh and a burger, pizza, fried chicken 4 yrds away nom nom.

For some reason my review of the bar got removed

20 years popping in, stopped at door at 3pm Sst by aggressive doorman
Went on to drop into nearly every other bat in village no bother
Convo went, him " yes"
me " hello"
him " what you want?"
me " a beer"
him just standing there
It was 3pm Sat.

Door Person Is A Disgrace

If you like being sworn at by rude door staff go here. He is more suited to the Print works than the Village. Witnessed 3 other tables having the same issue once we moved to the much nicer and accommodating bar next door. Via is lovely go here

Rem hotel

The room we stayed In was really nice good decoration and very clean we were warned before we went that they party through the night so if you're looking for a good night's sleep forget it! But they provide ear plugs which I thought was a nice touch. What disturbed me was people kicking doors in and screaming at the top of their voices in the early hours I think of the staff were aware this wouldn't happen. The price of the rooms were very competitive and the cheapest so far in Manchester. The staff are very pleasant and the bar itself has a nice atmosphere just a shame certain individuals spoil it The Doorman was obnoxious and I'm surprised they get as many customers with him as he's sarcastic and rude

Run!!!!!! Do not book this, 'hotel'

Hotel my eye, more like a hostel. We were expecting the basics because of the price but we didn't even get that. Room was tiny, could barely walk around the bed and very grubby and dirty. Stains on the walls, curtain pole hanging off wall, stains on bed sheets, bathroom door coming off the hinges, big gap under bedroom door out to main hall, shower tray doesn't fit in shower properly, I could go on.......! And as for the nightclub downstairs. Let me make this very clear, the only thing that separates you from the nightclub is floorboards. You may as well have a bed in the club because it's insanely loud, the walls are vibrating and this goes on to 6am. Nothing can prepare you for how loud and annoying this is and that's even after we knew there was a nightclub underneath us when we booked. Just spare yourself from a terrible experience and pay a little more for a proper hotel with an actual check in desk rather than having to go to the bar to get your keys for this disaster of a 'hotel'.
